61. Naval warships being blown up?
Charles J ,   San Diego USA   (11.23.11)
"When we weren't so close to Israel we had our Naval warships blown up" You mean like the USS Liberty? I dare you to Google it.
62. Sooo
Nunya Bizness ,   USA   (11.23.11)
Amy so you think the gov taking our money and giving it to Israel on the condition that they spend 3/4 of it here makes it ok? We GIVE them money to spend... it's our money they spend here... HELLO!
63. Ron Paul is right...
desmo ,   nyc usa   (11.23.11)
The USA should let Israel handle it's own affairs and stay out of their way already! The world wouldn't sit silent if Israel was attacked for no good reason, the fear and war mongering needs to end already... Israel can more than take care of themselves if they didn't have the USA getting in the way...

Harold ,   USA   (11.23.11)
You and your followers said the same about Iraq and now you are spreading fear to the world. We the United States never need Israel's help and never repeat that stupid words again.
65. #31
Harold ,   USA   (11.23.11)
Kessinger is the man who asked Nixon to help Israel and saved them. Now the Israelis and their media are talking against Kessinger.
66. American taxpayers give Israel over $8 million per day
rashidul ,   Dallas,USA   (11.23.11)
This is amount is given to a nation, at its peak, of 7.4 million people -- smaller than New Jersey. Israel has received more American money than any other nation on earth. It is more than we give to all the starving countries of Africa put together. From 1950-53 Israel's financial influx from the U.S. was one billion dollars; Israel at that time had 1.6 million inhabitants. In the past ten years, American taxpayers have given Israel approximately $200,000 per family of five. U.S. aid to Israel is given in a lump sum at the beginning of the fiscal year. Since the U.S. is operating at a deficit, this means that Washington borrows the money, gives it to Israel, and then pays interest on it long after it is gone. Israel, on the other hand, makes interest from it. Congress has mandated that Israel's aid be immediately deposited to an interest bearing account with the Federal Reserve Bank.

John ,   Alaska   (11.23.11)
I dislike Ron Paul as a candidate because he is not a friend of Israel. Isolationism is not an effective foreign policy decision in a world as interconnected as ours is today. Because he will have to decide, and probably sooner rather than later, whether to decide to support Israel or to decide to support Israel's Islamist, oil-supplying enemies, I believe he will choose the islamists with oil over the only true friend America has in the world today.
68. Ron Paul
D Joe Kerr ,   AMERICA   (11.23.11)
Ron Paul knows whom is medling within the Affairs of America and how it will end up for them, better stop before it's too late or the real sleeping giant will come upon you.
69. To: No. 39
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (11.23.11)
No. My parents were Holocaust survivors. I grew up with no grandparents, aunts, uncles or cousins. My mother was one of nine children and had a big extended family. My father was one of six children; also from a big extended family. They each were the sole survivor.
70. To: Moragh at No. 44
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (11.23.11)
I've never seen the Alamo. The only places I've seen in Texas are the ports of Houston and Galveston. I hear there are a couple of pretty good steakhouses in San Antone. I suppose if I ate red meat, I might care ....
71. break-up
todd ,   usa   (11.23.11)
Dear Israel, its not you, its me. I need some space. You'll find someone else quickly, I'm sure, but you and I are finished. We're moving on and you should too. Let's stay friends, okay? USA
72. Ron Paul
fed up   (11.23.11)
hints at what Americans are too scared to say - Israel has been a disaster for America . The Zionist lobby in the US has hijacked US foreign policy leading to endless wars on Israel's behalf.
73. ron paul
sas ,   israel   (11.24.11)
wrong or right - if he had the jewish vote until now - he certainly LOST IT. now we know the real truth about the man. ISRAEL HE WILL NOT SUPPORT. whether it be in connection to this or any other field. DUMB. bye bye.
74. Trust in Big GOV
Jeff ,   Canada   (11.24.11)
It makes me wonder why there is so much trust in big government when it comes to manipulation with foreign governments when they have proven to be failures in every other area. When the proven most honest person in government wants to pull back on the power of big gov. you attack him. For those that love the gov. to take care of you at home, you probably do trust big gov. overseas as well and thus I understand your attack on Ron Paul.
75. Israel vs Iran
biased1 ,   USA   (11.23.11)
Ahmadinejad is the current bogeyman. The "wipe Israel off the map" quote is a distortion. People should read the "Translation Controversy" section of Wikipedia's article "Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and Israel". Support WWIII if you feel it's justified, but at least form your own opinion rather than follow the government like sheep.
76. Ron Paul is a Quack
Randy M. ,   Portage Indiana USA   (11.24.11)
Ron Paul doesn't recognize a legitimate threat when he hears one, a threat not only to our friend Israel but to the US. Ahmadinejad isn't playing.
77. Iran Jewish Population
Jeff ,   Canada   (11.24.11)
How does the fact that the second largest population of Jews in the Middle East is in Iran fit in with the fear mongers propaganda. Apparently "Jews in Iran are generally regarded as having been subject to less discrimination than in the Arab world". A huge migration of Jews out of Iran came about at the time of the US intervention with the Shaw. Good foriegn policy huh? I'm not saying the Iran guy is anygood, but this should be factored in, to understand that you are being played by the neocons.
78. USA would not back Israeli strike on Iran
Norman ,   philippines   (11.24.11)
Israel doesn't need allies who tied Israel's hand on its back. Tell USA if attack is successful, they should not share in the credits like claiming that they are behind the effort secretly.
79. Interesting...
scrappdaddy ,   USA   (11.24.11)
If that's the case, and we here in America are so much better off with Israel as friends, then why are there still attacks in Israel? Do the security services you talk about protect America then they do their own country? I am not questioning your knowledge on these services, I have no idea about this. But, logically, the question above has to be asked. I believe in being a friend to Israel, and all countries. As the saying goes, "you get more flies with honey..." As a kid, didn't your mother ever tell you that you can't buy your friends? I just don't believe in buying our friends. Their is no loyalty accept to the money.
80. ISRAEL Sapping US Security
gobo ,   ontario, canada   (11.24.11)
seems like extortion to me. bank an aggressive nation, israel, otherwise your pretty country might not be so pretty. i believe the US naval warship you are referring to, was a casualty to Israel. research your facts. funny you should mention 9/11... better friend, or friend-in-bed? America better wake up & recognize her friends before her enemies. Seems we are having the same problem north of the border.
81. Dear Sarah B
kenny ,   new delhi, india   (11.24.11)
You are a real wonder! Your talent for bile spitting comments only increases by the day. Just nip over to Ahmedinjad, continue spitting bile and guess what, u will actually sound exactly like him:)
82. #22, Dear Sarah B
Kenny ,   New Delhi, India   (11.24.11)
You and old Ahmedinejad would actually make a great combo! while one plots a mushroom cloud over Israel, the other dreams of one over Europe! Now, that's what I call a power couple:)
83. Your argument is worthless
jason Cline ,   Anchorage, America   (11.25.11)
You say that if Iran has a nuclear weapon americans will lose essential liberty. This argument fails to contain any logic whatsoever and is false. You can have your opinion if you want but push this matter and i will prove your opinion to be wrong, like it or not.
84. re #73, for sas:
Adrian ,   Australia   (11.25.11)
He said that you didn't need the help; never that he was against you, or taking the other side. And you mention the word "truth" as if he had an evil, hidden agenda. Paul is very peaceful, and for you to think all American Jews are going to turn their back on him for making a peaceful and logical decision, is very underestimating of you about the Jewish people. The Jews should not feel threatened by Paul. He means to treat all nations justly and without bias. Support that, or prepare an apology to Yahweh.
85. Blessings
David ,   USA   (11.25.11)
Why do we help Irsael? And because He said too. That is enough for me to join the Israeli cause on all fronts. Sorry if you just can't get it.
86. reply
d1ricks ,   salt lake city.   (11.28.11)
