The math is simple, Iran will degenerate to a empty wasteland in months. Iranian oil money is a major source of terror in the world. Without the constant flow of money, Iran will no longer have the funds to continue their nuclear pursuits, fund the likes of Hamas and Hezbollah, or continue their arms build-up. In some ways, an Iranian oil embargo, is more effective than war. Their entire society is predicated upon oil money, and will simply evaporate without it. War will be much more costly, and has no guarantee of a result. When Iran and its' oil are outlaws, then only the outlaw countries will buy it.
