Mr Gingrich is perfectly right and tells the truth about the palestinians, saying that there was no palestinians during the Ottoman Empire. Arabs began to come over "Palestine" attracted by the economic development of the area when jews from Russia came to the area and created the "yishouv" in the end of 19th century. Then, after World War 1 and under the British, and the 2nd and 3rd Aliyot , the area went on developing. Then with the Indepedence Isaeli wae in 1948, part of the arabs left Israel and their arab brothers in Jordan, Egypt, etc... kept them in refugees camps , refusing to integrate them. After the 1967 victory of Israel, Jordan lost Cisjordania, (Judea and Samaria) and Egypt lost Gaza. And the USSR and the KGB cerated the Palestinian people, and Y. Arafat. Today, the so-called "palestinians" are millions. If they want to be a people, why not ? If they want a state, why not ? But, they don't have to lie.
