Henry, nobody is forcing you to read our talkbacks here & nobody is forcing you to write talkbacks here. If you dont like what you read here why not go to Ha'aretz where you may feel more at home. Your complaints are not going to change the way we think.

You have it backwards, inside out & upside down. The man in the street IS the man who is writing talkbacks. We the readers write talkbacks AFTER reading the journalist's articles. Remember English is not our mother tongue as it is yours.We make mistakes but manage to get our point across.

I am amazed that so many people are unaware of what is written in the bible about Israel. The scattering of the Jews from the land of Israel in 70AD is prophesied in Deuteronomy 4:27. The rebirth of Israel, which happened on May 14, 1948, is prophesied in Ezekiel 37. Zechariah 1:18-21 deals with the scattering of Judah (the west bank) and Jerusalem, which is happening at this time. Zechariah 12: tells what will happen to the nations that come against Israel. Jeremiah 30:1 says " at the same time, says the Lord, I will be the God of all the famalies of Israel and they shall be My people.' And there is so much more, if people would take time to read it.

Wow! Saudis are happy that they committed crimes and credit fraud? Why are we so surprised about this? Arabs do not like us. They will never will. Whether they get Jerusalem or not, they will still not like us a bit. These types of societies will always look for a reason to be unhappy with anything and anyone.

What these Saudi geniuses don't realize is that if they hack others, others will hack them. Israeli hackers: Get to work!!

I only find it sad that so many Israelis and American Jews resort to childish behaviour in their responses rather than intelligent discussion (I've heard it's not much better on YNet Hebrew). The extremism is a bit less of a problem. Why would anyone want to read the talkbacks on Ha'aretz? It's all people apologising for Israel doing the right thing and talking about how evil Israel is. Here, you have some people closer to the right idea, but most expressing it very poorly (and it has nothing to do with English skills, rather their arguments themselves are poor).

He is talking about the fact that many YNetters express out-there views and resort to childish name-calling. How many times do you see comments that attack people without any real arguments? It's all funny, but at the same time, a bit tragic. The weird thing is that a lot of stuff that violates the Terms of Use are published, but a lot of stuff that does not is not.

In approximately 60 years the oil will have run out . The Saudis have nothing else . No other industry to speak of just oil . The royals will have long since escaped to Europe and the states where they keep the whores and casinos busy . In 60 years the whole crumbling heap will sink back into the desert and the less fortunate ones will revert to type ie nomadic goatherds living in tents .

Taking all your posts together, it seems you agree that 1. TBers can be venemous on both sides. 2. People in the street do not necessarily rise to the same level of venom as the TBers. In my opinion, there is truth to this. I do not know how much, but my guess is at least some truth; enough to take a step back from the venom once in a while and 'think again'.

hello Mr Harris I am a North American educated university student and I've been reading your drabble here, you act like your so far above everyone because you enjoy appeasing these people, no carpet bombing Syria is not realistic nor is it smart, you should understand`the varying degrees of intelligence in a society...with that being said, ask about 90% of believers of islam (not an official number obviously) if they believe israeli's should walk this earth...you'll get a no, ask israelis if they want arabs removed from the land and quite a few less will say yes...your drabble hurts me to read and your will to ignore what is happening in the world is amazing to me. that the nicer you are to people the more they hate you. Saudi Arabia is a good example. There is lack of equality between men and women. Petty theft is punished by cutting off arms. Public hangings still exist, and yet, those hackers love their country. In so-called "Apartheid" Israel, men and women drive, vote and go to work (even the Arab men and women). Our Arab knesset members support our enemies and protest against our government, and yet we are hated. See.

If it were not for their oil these primitive and savage Saudis would have NOTHING and the rest of the world wouldn't be kissing their asses (the way Obama is). Israel has the know how to take out via computers lots of Saudi installations. DO IT!

in Islam is to cut the hands. I guess there would be a lot of handicapped people if the Saudi government decides to do something about it. This will be interesting to hear about within the next few days.
