other Christians in Muslim nations around the world who are under persecutions like Jews are in America, should play Naaman in the House of Rimmon to keep their jobs. Naaman was told not to eat meat sacrificed to idols, however. So Christians suffering persecutions in Muslim nations and in America that hates Christians and Jews, too, must NOT eat halal foods which are dedicated to Allah. The packages have a circle W or circle H or Arabic writing to indicate the food is halal. All Campbell Soups are Halal as is chicken at Kentucky Fried Chicken, meat at MacDonald's, meat at Sizzler's Steak Houses, fresh meats at Costco and many other foods. Such foods ingested will cause the Ruach Hakodesh (Holy Spirit) to leave a person as will alcohol and hallucinogenic drugs and sinning.
32. only the star of David and the red crescent will be left
moses   (01.05.12)
Goodbye ' cross '.Payback time has finally arrived. For centuries, christians have had an open hand (used generously and without pity) with natives of the Middle East, Africa, S. America. Now it's their turn to to feel the heat, and hot it is. Just wondering if they feel what Jews have been going thru for 2000 years.
33. #22.Dan: Please no more Niemöller crap
Tom ,   USA   (01.05.12)
That man was an ardent Nazi Hitler admirer then switched to Stalin worship. He received the Lenin prize in the 60-es: in either case he was a spineless hypocrite whose story must be told. He was far from being a tower of righteousness but a shill for totalitarianism let it be brown or red.
34. Religion = Nightmarish Brainwash
Abdel Karim Salim ,   Jerusalem   (01.05.12)
I am a Palestinian arab of East Jerusalem and although I was born and raised a moslem I attended a christian, french, boarding school in the Old City of Jerusalem in my childhood . I never noticed or felt any discrimination on the basis of religion in school . The Islamic education I received taught me all the time that all non moslems are infidels . But later, once I decided to drop religion from my life and start thinking on my own, I have become extremely-more objective, much more tolerant, and much less biased against followers of all other religions . I have concluded that hatred and incitement among people are preached by the religious nightmarish brainwashing . Hence I am a strong advocate of separating religion from politics . Before the very same civil law we should all be equal citizens . Religion should indeed become a private matter .
35. Palestinian Christian in Toronto # 12
Arnold ,   Canada   (01.05.12)
You make me sick. Right away you blame the Jews and Israel. Meanwhile what about the Christians in Egypt, in Jordon, in Lebanon and in Syria. Are they also being persecuted because of the Jews and Israel ? When you YOU PEOPLE ever going to take responsibility for your own lives ? My G-d you are so pathetic.
36. #12. Just to be clear, you are referring to the US
Henry from New York ,   USA   (01.05.12)
when you say "YOU". Correct?
37. To Jehudah Ben-Israel
Luiz F Haddad ,   Niteroi, Brazil   (01.05.12)
You are right, my brother. Israel is a safed country for our faith. I have verified it, personally, during my travel there, in November, 2010. Not only because of it, but for many otherl good reasons, we, true Christians, are at your side. Salutes.
38. oh my they've come 4 the Christians!
(01.05.12)
well that's because they have no Jews to beat on so they've gone after the Christians. Once they finish with them then you know it will be a Shite and Sunni faceoff. Meantime in Syria the Alawites are killing their population...its all so sad!
39. To N 14, Abdullah
Luiz F Haddad ,   Niteroi, Brazil   (01.05.12)
Dear Abdullah. Islamism, like Christianism and Judaism, is a serious religion, that accepts God Unique and His words to Abraham and the other prophets. We are the three People from Sacred Alliance. But Faith and State's Law must be separated, however not indifferent among itselves. It means no one can be punished because of religious changing. It means men and women with equal rights and duties. I have travelled to Jordan, also. She is not a Moslim fundamentalistic country. But others are, in fact, including some too near from the yours. This must cease. God (Allah, Jahveh) loves when the one believes Him through a free option; never on fear and oppression.
40. #14
Beary White ,   Norway   (01.05.12)
I will not call you bad names, but you have missed a lot of history in the world. Who was the first, in the beginning, to kill masses to promote your/his religion...not me,not christians, not hindu or other non-islamic religions leaders....your justice is bloody.
41. The real roots of this problem,
Istvan ,   BUDAPEST HUNGARY   (01.05.12)
is a hopeless overpopulation in the ME. No place, no food, no water enough for ten of millions. So they are forced to act irrationally. What is the solution I don't know, maybe a centralised birth control by the UN.
42. # 14
Eaglebeak ,   Left Coast, USA   (01.05.12)
Your post is ridiculous. Muslims foment violence and hate and chaos everywhere and you point the finger at Jews and Christians. When is the last time a Christian or Jew rioted and killed because they didn't like a cartoon or someones naming a teddy bear after a pedophile? Religious pesectution and intolerance for others is the hallmark of Islam. You can't even have peace among yourselves.
43. Same zionist lies every year
Daoud ,   Ramallah, Palestine   (01.05.12)
In some Arab nations, yes there is persecution. In some places like Kuwait, its social- on the ground. In places like Mubarak's Egypt it was systematic, Mubarak fostered these problems! But I am from Ramallah, have never been to Gaza. Many Christians started leaving here basically for economic reasons. Palestinian Christians are wealthier thus more likely to leave when the economy goes bad, which it did in 2000 with the uprising against the zionist terrorists! But today things are getting better and the economy is, and many Christians are coming back. If you want the truth ask us. I just told you what I believe and what I believe every Palestinian Christian believes. I am yet to be persecuted in the least, by Muslims that is!
44. 12 says 300 000 Pal Christians in Chile,Thats why they blame

51. Not precise not really truthful I think
Obada Shtaya ,   Nabus   (01.05.12)
It me this is merely an attempt to shift the focus from the Israeli racism- and their attempts to cleans Israel from anybody other than Jews or more precisely Zionist- to a made up idea of Muslims eradicating the area from Christians. As many of the talkbacks ,from Palestinian and Arab Christians, this is not true at all and the very good relations between Muslims and Christians especially in Palestine is remarkable; that's every year proved and showed by Muslims participating in the Christian celebrations and parties in during their holidays period. All in all, Palestinians believe that the conflict with Israel is not a religious but rather a conflict on an occupied land; they also believe that Jews also are brothers who can live with them in peace and joy.
52. #50. Given the fact that the existence of a higher being
Henry from New York ,   USA   (01.05.12)
that we have given various names to cannot be proved nor disproved, that solution would not be in the least bit effective (not that they'd listen anyway).
53. Arab Christians used to denounce Israel
Mikey   (01.05.12)
Because of internal pressure. During the time Arab nationality was rising they thought Israel would act as a glue between them and the Muslims. As things got worse they had to denounce it louder so people would leave them alone. With the death of the Arab nationalism and the rise of Islamism ("Arab Spring"), things are going to be very grim for Christians in the Middle East, unless, of course, they live in Israel. By the way, Lebanon isn't growing in size because the Christians are fleeing the country to the Americas and Australia.
54. To: No. 12
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (01.05.12)
Stop perpetrating a fraud upon the world. No one "kicked" you out of your homes; you heeded the call of your so-called leadership to get out of the way of the conquering Arab armies who were going to drive the Jews into the sea. That makes those who left voluntary quits. If you leave of your own volition; we don't have to let you back in. I note for the record that those Arabs that did not leave are full citizens of Israel today, enjoying all the rights and privileges of citizenship, though not all of the obligations. You suffer from that severe ersatz "Palestinian" disease -- nothing is ever your fault. That is why you will never have a country -- building a successful country requires the ability to take responsibility for making decisions and judgments -- something the ersatz "Palestinians" seem incapable of doing. BLAME YOURSELVES! By the way -- please provide citations from legitimate sources with respect to your outlandish claims, especially the one about there being 300,000 ersatz "Palestinian" Christians in Chile. The Chilean Consulate in New York disputes that number.
55. Best friends
Aviel ,   Bend&Jerusalem   (01.05.12)
When will Arab Christians and Israeli Jews begin to understand that they should be each other's best friends? They are the only two that have the Lord G-d Almighty in common!
56. Stop speaking on our behalf!!
PalestinianChristian   (01.05.12)
Despite the tensions that occasionally take place between the communities, it was not the Muslims who expelled thousands of Palestinian Christians from their homes, including George Habash and Nayef Hawatmeh. It's a given among Arab Christians that Israel is guilty of these crimes and that's why you might hear more about recent developments regarding Islamism than about the crimes of Zionism. This so-called "Islamic crocodile" was almost insignificant during Michel Aflaq and Habash's times. And draping the PLO flag over the crucifix is a Christian act which we carry out proudly. You lump different contexts from different time periods together under one simplistic explanation. Stop speaking on our behalf, Meotti. Your garbage is not welcome by us Christians of the Holy Land.
57. To # 14 Ridiculous Abdullah
marucho ,   Bs.As. Argentina   (01.05.12)
How many Jews are there living in Jordan, Abdullah? And how many in Saudi Arabia? Are jews permitted to live in your country Abdullah? Since when the moslems have been generous and tolerant with jews? When Jordan ruled on the West Bank including Jerusalem from 1948 to 1967? Do you know how many synagogues have the jordanians razed and desecrated during that period? C´mon, don´t talk nonsense.
58. To Henry from New York
Pamela Peltonen ,   Marion, Texas   (01.06.12)
As an American, you do not represent me sir! I will stand for Israel.
59. #14, #47 abdullah
solomon ,   bklyn   (01.06.12)
The ‘justice’ you speak of is Islamic “justice”, which is not justice. It is a non-sequitor.
60. # 51 obada
solomon ,   bklyn   (01.06.12)
Which Israeli racism are you talking about? The racism shown because Israel's arabs vote, have representation in the Knesset, serve as judges, etc. Egypt is now striving for this kind of "racism". Yet there is a death sentence in "Palestine" for anyone that so much as sells land to a Jew. Where is the racism? Hint: It ain't in Israel.
