They must invest in the proper configuration of their systems and this comes before speed. Speed may be reached through proper programming. Companies must do much more to protect their systems and data. They must implement better authentication mechanisms Now it's only asking for what a client/user knows. If a hacker finds out, it's done. With credit cards it's even worse. I can order with only knowing what is printed on the card anyway. There are better ways like asking what my client/user has or what he is. Both today is technically feasible. Here security comes before convenience.

I have been saying since the late '90s that we should get some Israeli hackers to hack into the Iranian and Syrian military computer systems and mess with their missle guidance systems so that if, say, Iran shoots a missile at Israel it hits Syria instead.
