Though I am not disposed as Fad to rain nuclear warfare on Iran, I do question your logic. How many thousands of Japanese survivors of Hiroshima and Nagasaki marched on the US? The bombs were very successful and ended the war sparing American and Japanese lives in the end. Japan is in fact a great US ally. Is this the exact same scenario? Not so much, most of the Japanese loved their WWII government and emperor. Can you say the same about the Iranians and their ayatollahs? Internal hate of the Iranian government might make an Israeli intervention a Thanked event though I wouldn't count on it.
