61. #12 - so you do admit it was an Iranian attack
William ,   Israel   (02.14.12)
but you fail to admit that no evidence has been produced to implicate israel in the attack on Iranian scientists other than conspiracy theories. Even if it were a reprisal, it's pretty disgusting to attack someone's family, who are civilians no matter what.
62. #15 - I have to side with Henry on this one
William ,   Israel   (02.14.12)
Self-preservation is not heroic. If you consider that heroic then it means you consider complacency to be the norm. Which means you gravely under-estimate the human psyche. Rathern Koren deserves major applause for being so level-headed.
63. #30 - Don't diplomats and their families have their own cars
William ,   Israel   (02.14.12)
I don't know what being a diplomat in Egypt is like (being a citizen basically sucks)...but in other countries, as a diplomat, you receive diplomatic plates for all cars you possess, which includes those used by the spouse. When I was in Boston, I saw all types of diplomatic plates on vehicles driven by family members of the diplomat. After all, they are not citizens of the host country but representatives of their own country, with the rights inherent therein.
64. #34 - he was killed by a bomb in his car headrest
William ,   Israel   (02.14.12)
and the investigation BY Syria indicated several "Palestinians" and Syrians who were behind it, but no proof of Israeli involvement. In Iran, there is still no evidence that points to Israel, or even the Iranian opposition, for the deaths of the Iranian scientists. Although, no matter what, the response to an attack on an uber terrorist or nuke scientists is NOT to kill a diplomat's wife (and possibly his kids). But Islamic racism rarely knows red lines.
65. #54 - but you assert they are "innocent Iranians"...
William ,   Israel   (02.14.12)
when under Intl Laws and Conventions of war, they are legitimate targets. These were nuke scientists working on an illegal nuke program for a nation which supports global terrorism and has made many threats against other nations as of lately. Now, if the person targeted was the scientists' wife, or the night security guard of Natanaz, that would be a different story.
66. #56 - why would you blame Henry...
William ,   Israel   (02.14.12)
when it's clear the long string of comments from people with little to add are the problem.
67. Hero my a$$...

71. # 56
Birdi ,   Israel   (02.15.12)
Simple to understand. Had she been in the car at the time of the explosion, she would have been dead now.
72. Post # 26

73. #12 Gracek - Everyone refers to his as the MONKEY not lion,

Iranians call him Meymoun which means monkey in Farsi. Go back to zoology 101.
