Israel is currently a bi-national state with 20% Arab population. A two state solution calls for a 23rd Arab state with NO jews and a Jewish state with too many Arabs. In the case of annexation of empty land, Israel will remain a binational state with too many Arabs. So as far as Israel is concerned what difference does it make if we are a binational state or a binational state? Instead how about we create an Arab state with no Jews and a Jewish state with no Arabs? One state in Jordan and the other state in Israel. The border can be drawn along the Jordan river.

While I agree that the palestinians will never accept the Bennett plan, they will in fact never accept ANY plan that safeguards Israel as a Jewish state. The plan that makes the most sense is the Lieberman plan. Israel needs to unilaterally keep the land that they defensively need, and pass a loyalty oath for citizenship. Those who are unwilling to accept Israel as a Jewish state and who refuse to do military or national service of some sort will lose their voting citizenship.Only when Israel puts their national interests before the U.S. and EU will they finally regain the deterrence that they have lost since Oslo.
