It has always been called Jerusalem & I know it's a Jewish name. Hmm- I'm sure if it was originally built by Arabs it would not have been named Jerusalem but have a Arab name . Neither Ishmael nor Esau settled there plus Ishmael was the child from Hagar & not Sarah & the promise was given by God to Abram & Sarah with Isaac 2600 years before the Koran . I don't see a problem with who Jerusalem belongs to & I'm sure King David nor his son & all the other Jewish Kings had a problem about that ! Stand firm & knowledgeable on truth no matter the results of the opposition .

It is a religious enclave consisting of one religion only. A city includes workers, families, schools (from gan to university), civil courts, etc. It is not difficult to understand that the possibility of finally being able to live a normal life in this beautiful Land appears attractive and important. I have lived there and visit quite often. But I am afraid that giving up exclusive sovereignty will not solve the problem but make it worse. Recent history seems to bear this out.
