In Islam, they have a sort of parallel to our messiah called the Mahdi. This Mahdi is not an exact parallel, but for this discussion, that is a good enough definition. According to Islam, the Mahdi won't come until the entire world is engaged in war. The last time Iran fought a war was 1980-1988. The outcome was a disaster for Iran. They subcontract terror to proxies Hezbollah and Hamas or attack unarmed civilians. Their dog and pony military parades look primitive. And the Regime is scared to death of tiny Israel.
