Sarah, You are 100% correct about the institution called "Christianity." Where you and I disagree is that all who count Yeshua of Nazareth as our Mashiach fit into that institution. Organized Christianity, i.e., Catholics, Methodists, Lutherians, etc., and all the ecumenical movements of so called "Christianity" today is only a Religion. There are millions of us who count Yah'shua as Mashiach and have nothing to do with these organizations, and we all count the Jewish people as our brethren. We consider the seed of Avraham as the Chosen of Eloheim and have dedicated our lives to supporting, protecting, and defending them even to the last drop of our blood. I love your posts and agree with you most of the time, but, Please? Do not generalize and throw all of us into the dung heap of Religious fanaticism as found in modern day Christianity, or even in the days of the Crusades! There are millions of us who are trying our best to love you and support you. Would you please acknowledge that? I agree 100% that christianity as evidenced in these ungodly organizations have caused nothing but pain and sorrow to Jews. I renounce them with every ounce of breath in my body, as do all my brothers and sisters who love you and support you. Shalom
92. *56 The true beliver will not boikott Israel
kjell Andersen ,   Kristiansand Norway   (04.02.12)
As said, we boycott those who boycott Israel and Israeli goods find their way to the Norwegians, however. Christian Friends of Israel travel around the churches in order to sell products from Israel. Tonight I bought something from Meshi industries, deodorant, etc. that were sold in my church. When I get to a store so I look for products from Israel, and if these boycotting Israeli goods, so I do not buy anything in the store. As a Christian I have learned to give, and half of what I give as a gift, I give to my church's relief efforts and the other half to colel Chabad that helps poor people in Israel.
93. A dream come true
Arab Muslim ,   ME   (04.02.12)
I have long hoped that Israelis would turn against Christians (and as a bonus, begin insulting their religion.) But I always thought they were too smart for this. Then I read this article and the comments that followed. I am delighted! I will tell my Iranian brothers there is no need for nuclear weapons. Israel seems intent on destroying itself! Allah is indeed good!

- if you are a German you have to bear that Burden and be Quite. If you are a None-German so speak for youself as a Christian. But a True Christian you are not, because the Svedish-National so called Church, has nothing to do with neither GOD nor HIS Christ, it is only a man made organisation. If you where a True Christian you would have known this. Arn.Sweden.
95. In Finland christians defending Israel are called as extreme
Jouko ,   Finland   (04.02.12)
christians and as fundamentalists by the Finnish Lutheran Archibishops!!! How strange that those who believe in the Bible as considered as something weird by church leadership! And those church members who never read the Bible as normal christians!
96. How odd of God to choose the Jews, but how odder still
Jouko ,   Finland   (04.02.12)
of those who choose the Jewish God to hate the Jews.
97. To: David at No. 91
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (04.02.12)
I freely acknowledge everything that you stated in your post. But I would ask this: can you restrict your love and support to love and support? And stop proselytizing? Jews are quite content being Jews. We are not interested in adopting your so-called "Messiah." Can you acknowledge that, and stop trying to convert us to a religion that has persecuted the Jewish people for two millennia? Or is that too much to ask? Love and support do not come with strings attached, now, do they? And nothing -- but nothing -- can wash the blood which has always been a part of Christianity's relationship to the Jews. It hasn't stopped, David. It has only morphed into something considerably more sinister. I'm sorry, but there you have it.
98. To: No. 93
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (04.02.12)
You can take your "Allah" and shove him wherever you like. The Jewish people -- as always -- are perfectly capable of standing alone in the face of false prophets. We always have. We always will.
99. #91, David...so read the "New Testament"
Chris Rettenmoser ,   Bayerisch Gmain Germ   (04.02.12)
it is the founding document of Antisemitism !
100. #90...TOOO bad that they forgot you !
Chris Rettenmoser ,   Bayerisch Gmain Germ   (04.02.12)
101. Mind boggling!
frauss ,   Jerusalem   (04.02.12)
These churches are coming down on Israel, a democratic state, the only Middle Eastern state that truly respects freedom of religion when our honorable Muslim neighbors are daily PERSECUTING and KILLING their Christian citizens! Where is the outcry of world Christianity?? (They appear to be quietly mourning the demise of that great champion of Christianity Yasser Arafat.)
102. To: No. 90
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (04.02.12)
The Jewish people do not look for reasons to hate, either. Those reasons keep on being thrust upon us. Never mind two thousand years ago. We've had to deal with Christian hatred for a very long time, and it continues to this day. Look within yourself, and tell me why. I'd really like to know.
103. to 44

104. Churches Boycot Israel?
Sara   (04.02.12)
While Christians are persecuted all over the middle east, and even in European countries wearing a cross is being called offensive, the church will act against Israel! Yes, not all are to blame, but there are significant numbers of haters out there. Too bad they hate Israel more than they care for their own...
105. the christians are getting killed --where is the pope
alan ash ,   nyc ny   (04.02.12)
the christians being afraid of the muslims do not say one word as they are killed ,tortured ,and their churces forced to close..
106. #99 Chris
David ,   USA   (04.02.12)
The "New Testament" in its present form has been corrupted by catholic anti-semites and interpreters who have a personal agenda. Though I can't prove it, I am convinced that the documents that make up the so called New Testament were Jewish documents, written in Hebrew language by Hebrews. It has been twisted to say things that were not originally intended.
107. #97 Sarah
David ,   USA   (04.02.12)
Yes Sarah, I can acknowledge that! I have already done so many years ago. I agree with you Sarah. What you are saying is the truth. I know the history. I am deeply saddened by what has taken place. I do not wish to convert you. I wish to join you as Ruth did.
108. To Sara
John Casterline ,   Strasburg USA   (04.02.12)
I have read your comments hundreds of times over the years and never responded to you until today . You may want to go to Tzrifin and visit the Bahads where I and many Christians served as Volunteer workers on your military bases. Tell them how you feel about them based on things that happened many centuries ago.. Tell the Christians packing parachutes at Tel Nof how much you hate them .Tell the Christians packing tools and loading trucks at Tzrifin how much you hate them ..I have seen so many Jews and Christians hug each other in tears and LOVE . I feel sorry for you and I always have .
109. I read the 5,000 year history of the Jews a few times
John Casterline ,   United States   (04.02.12)
Yes the greatest persecutor of Jews in all History was the Eastern Byzantine Catholic Church. I was raised Roman Catholic and my wife is Eastern Byzantine Catholic. What the Catholic Church did to Jews has nothing to do with me and my wife. I can tell you we are both deeply sorry that it happened . Anti Semitism in my opinion is JEALOUSY. It cannot be explained any other way . By the way - We also are about as happy with the Catholic church as you are .. But we do not hate Catholics or Christians ..We have a real enemy called Islam. The last thing we Christians and Jews need to do is fight with each other . We need to stand strong together . We have a very real enemy that hates us both. We must NOT fight with each other.
110. To Sara - You will just LOVE this
Dave Cannon ,   Springfield USA   (04.02.12)
My first day in Sociology class in college - The teacher focused on this - The most persecuted people on this earth in all history is the Jews. He was very bitter about the supidity of it all. He said no other people on earth have endured persecution everywhere on this planet and for NO reason .. My professor expressed incredible bitterness about ant semitism. And YES this was a Catholic college and he was a very religious Catholic. The Nuns in Catholic school taught us as children to love Jews.
111. I know lots of people here.....and most of them like Israel.
Steven Wilson ,   Anchorage, Alaska   (04.02.12)
The Leaders who might say they need a boycott....are not getting listened to very much. I haven't dealt with any of them or heard of any of the religious leaders demanding a boycott on Alaska. Is this view by the writer getting totally overblown when it come to the United States??? The colleges across the United States....are the breeding grounds for this anti semitism. The churches don't even have a chance at beating colleges these days.
112. #110...Oh really ? For NO reason ???
Chris Rettenmoser ,   Bayerisch Gmain Germ   (04.02.12)
For no other reason, than the lies perpetrated in the "New Testament" maybe ?
113. to #1 Jehovah has rejected you because you have rejected his
deutronomy 28 ,   USA   (04.02.12)
son, and you became irrelevant to him...the records got destroyed in 70 CE when the romans invaded jerusalem, so you no longer can know who the messiah is...he is supposed to be from the tribe of judah, and now none of the jews know from which tribe he is let alone the messiah...so get informed before you open your mouth and stink the site with your ignorant stupidity...
114. #13 you should probably read the bible yourself
deutronomy 28 ,   USA   (04.02.12)
then you will see that jesus is the messiah which makes all judaism a ridiculous joke and a scam
115. 112 Chris
David ,   USA   (04.02.12)
Chris, I am sorry this has made you so bitter and filled with so much hate. I will pray for you. In the mean time, could you please list these lies in the New Testament you are talking about? I agree that there are translation errors but the writings are Hebrew writings by Hebrew people. Goyim had nothing to do with it until 2 to 3 CE. We have Aramaic transcripts that were prior to the Greek. A close reading will prove that these authors were all, except Luke, Hebrew speaking, Torah observant Jews who supported what they believed to be a Hebrew speaking, Torah observant Mashiach! Please, educate yourself on the text before you condemn the entire book.
116. #23 just think of the word Christian
Deutronomy 28 ,   USA   (04.02.12)
Christ was killed by the jews, Jehovah his father rejected jews and judaism jesus hungout in jerusalem teaching about christianity and his father jehoavh and how the jewish leaders were nothing but fake believers and abusers of the people so they ended up killing him, as the prophecies had predicted making him without a doubt the messiah and the savior, where is your lost messiah? picking up some girls? lost his way some where in tel aviv's strip bars? LOL
117. 104 Sara
David ,   USA   (04.02.12)
Sara, It appears from these talkbacks that the hate is mutual. Regardless of the cause. I obviously side with the Jews on the cause, however, hate is hate no matter which side it comes from. There are Jew hating churches and there are Jew loving churches. It is the generalization that is wrong. There are good Jews and bad Jews and there are good Christians and bad Christians. Those of us who have our hearts right hate no one. Torah teaches that we are to treat one another in a just manner and have mercy and compassion. Without those things one cannot call himself "Israel."
118. #113+#114...YOU are a bad joke...and
Chris Rettenmoser ,   Bayerisch Gmain Germ   (04.02.12)
proof to all of my arguments...!
