Like the rest of us you have no choice. The fascination and affinity I feel for Israel has more to do with our G-d than with individual Israelis - but I know He loves you and that's good enough for me.

It is true you as an individual might be self-sufficient and also that we Jews have enough resources at all levels to survive but saying we do not need others and that others are irrelevant is ridiculous and disrespectful.
