PETER SM ,   AUSTRALIA   (05.11.12)
Boating their arrogance and ignorance.
63. #59 LMAO - what a moron
Gee ,   Zikron Yaakov   (05.11.12)
We can't feed ourselves? We are one of the largest food exporters in the region and have been for decades. How fucking stupid can one get? As for taking on the rest of the world, why? We aren't Christians or Muslims. We have never had the desire to rule morons like you.
64. Peace ONLY via BALANCE, balance ONLY via SECURE BIG ISRAEL.
Jerry ,   The Netherlands   (05.11.12)
65. Stolen land? Yeah, and Jesus was a Jew from Mars.
Steven Gjilbert ,   Teaneck   (05.11.12)
His parents stole the land in Bethlehem and Nazareth after which He jack booted his way to Jerusalem. And the Americans murdered the Indians, as Hitler later took note. And the Aussies destroyed the aborigines. My dear ignoramuses, learn some history. The Arabs were last interlopers in historic Palestine. , in the same way that they swept into North Africa and Spain from the desert and slaughter those pre-existing Christians who refused to convert to Islam. The process of eradicating Christians, ie. Copts, Assyrians, etc. continues to this day to be denied only by those who are willfully blind or to cowardly to stand up to the slander of being called Islamophobic. Why don't you take a look on the I-net for when the Golden Dome and Al Aksa Mosques were built? Until recently, all Arabs new and stated that the site was where the Jewish Temple was located. When the realized that the truth undermined their narrative, they rewrote history. The Jews were never in Jerusalem, never had a Temple, and Jesus drove out the money changers in Las Vegas.
66. @60 UNSCR242 negotiatiations over. Divide Melburn
Miron ,   USA   (05.11.12)
67. #59 Edithann. Israel grows stronger each year..
Chaim ,   Israel   (05.11.12)
#59 Edithann. Your hostile fantasies grow more bizarre all the time. Israel has one of the world's most vibrant economies. Israel is an exporter of food. As for our "dream world"...Israel grows stronger, richer and more wonderful every year. You must have a pretty pathetic life to burn your days away posting such hateful drivel.
68. #46. Israel belonged to Jews for more than 3,500 years.
Chaim ,   Israel   (05.11.12)
#46 Nina. The only thing you manage to prove in your ridiculous post is your colossal ignorance. Israel has belonged to Jews for more than 3,500 years. No nation has stronger evidence of it's claim on it's land than Israel. Archaelogists from around the world are constantly finding new treasures built by our Jewish ancestors in Israel thousands of years ago.
69. Our hasbara fool
Bob ,   TA   (05.11.12)
This Italian hasbara-man has zero knowledge but it does not prevent him to make fool of himself. Nobody would care if Israel builds the system of walls and fenses on its own territory. The only problem is the whole thing (well, some 95 %) is built on the occupied territorries which doet not belong to Israel. If (USA builts its waals on Mexican side of the border, the problem would be the same.) Anything else is propaganda rubbish.
70. Response to#22
John R ,   NYC USA   (05.11.12)
Israels own Supreme Court in a 2005 ruling on the Gaza disengagement stated plainly Judea and Samaria are not Israeli land and that Israel is a belligerent occupier. So much for labels. In 1993 the State of Israel recognized the PLO (now the PA) as the legitimate representative of the Palestinian People in the OSLO accords. Apparently Israel also discovered and recognized them. Where in international law does it say that a biblical title to land (from God) gives you a right to keep it? Please cite the specific code. In 2005 the ICJ issued a ruling which didn't condemn the use of a security fence. It did condemn the use of one when it surrounded occupied land which not a single country or Israel's own courts say is Israeli land. You may label #7 as hard thinking but at least he is capable of thinking.
71. Response to#24
John R ,   NYC USA   (05.11.12)
Tell me where specifically do you think Israel's borders are? According to Israel's own Dept. of State the 1967 borders are only armistice lines not legal borders. According to Israel's own Supreme Court in two rulings in 2005, the West Bank is only occupied land. Article 5 of the Palestine Mandate states: “ The Mandatory shall be responsible for seeing that no Palestine territory shall be ceded or leased to, or in any way placed under the control of the Government of any foreign Power.” It is the only article addressing any country’s territorial claims in the Palestine Mandate. It plainly outlaws Israel’s annexations of both Jerusalem and its de facto annexations of land confiscated and zoned for West Bank settlements and infrastructure. Israel has no legal right of settlement and even the 157 countries that recognize Israel say it. The only one pontificating utter nonsense is you.
72. #16 TaylorT, Seriously, have you anything useful to say?
Phil ,   Ireland   (05.11.12)
I mean seriously?
73. Response to#20
John R ,   NYC USA   (05.12.12)
The US border fence is situated on its legal border. What's Israel's excuse?
74. #71. Eugene Rostow ended all legal controversy.
Chaim ,   Israel   (05.12.12)
#71 John. Your ridiculous posturing as an international law expert is getting rather tiresome. Eugene Rostow, Undersecretary of State and author of U.N. Resolution 242 ended all legal controversy about Judea and Samaria. Writing in 1991, Rostow stated, "Jews have the right to live in the West Bank. The British Mandate can't be rescinded". Moreover, Rostow is only one of countless international law experts who've proven Judea and Samaria belong to Israel. The terrorist P.A. won't even publicly debate the issue because they know Israel owns Judea and Samaria. Back to your turnip patch, John.
75. Response to#74
John R ,   NYC USA   (05.12.12)
The State of Israel is not a legal party to the Palestine Mandate and it is the State of Israel that appropriated state lands for settlements. I am not rescinding the Mandate. Rostow's entire argument relies on Art. 6 of the Mandate which gives Jews the right to settle West of the Jordan River. The Mandate’s primary purpose was to form a viable Jewish state. Article 6 was an administrative directive for Britain (the Mandatory) to help facilitate Jewish immigration only to satisfy that purpose and none other. Once Israel accepted the UNGAR 181 borders and formed a recognized state, all of its Mandate rights ended. That legal precedent had already been established once Lebanon and Syria were formed. Israel is either a legal country or it is unallocated land within the Mandate. It cannot be both. The countless international experts including the ICJ agree with me. A handful of right wing legal lunatics agree with you. The only turnip patch is the one between your ears.
76. #75 so much stupidity in one paragraph
Gee ,   Zikron Yaakov   (05.12.12)
In #71 you claim that we had no right to 'Palestinian land' yet in #75 you state that it was for a Jewish state. Can't have it both ways. UNGA resolutions are RECOMMENDATIONS - per UN Charter so no we do not have to do anything with it. Not one international expert in the entire world agrees with your statement. The ICJ has no jurisdiction and has not made any such ruling. You are totally wrong in everything you post. Get a brain - the laws are clear and against your claims.
77. To Chaim, 52.
Luiz F Haddad ,   Niteroi, Brazil   (05.13.12)
Chaim, I agree with your comment. Fences and barriers are, unhappily, necessary for defending Israel and her people, until Arab Palestines accept to make a honoured peace. I may desagree from you on less important issues, but about Israel's independence, sovereignty and security, I, and other true Christians, will be always your loyal friends. On the opportunity, this Sunday, in Brazil, we commemorate the Mother's Day. Then, I salute you and all the mothers of your family.
78. hey Mike#7,your "border"wall in Texas is on Mexican land
jorge   (05.13.12)
So is the one in New Mexico, Colorado, as a matter of fact Alaska, is Russian land, what about Puerto Rico, where are the great Indian Nations that you wiped out in the great plains and stole their lands. So baby, most nations have. occupied lands, The Arabs had only a tiny oasis with camels and goats inn Saudi Arabia and stole the whole middle east.Want to talk about it

Ask the publishers why they will not print my response to you.
80. Another case of discrimination against Israel disclosed
Shalom Freedman ,   Jerusalem Israel   (05.13.12)
This is yet another instance in which the world community singles out Israel and faults it unfairly. Once again too another outstanding article from Mr. Meotti.
