Modern Turkey wants to eat its pie and have it too:-) In the case of Spanish Jews, it fully assumes the mantle of the former Ottoman Empire. In the case of Armenians, it absolves itself of any responsibility for the death of ~1 mln civilians, because modern Turkey has nothing to do with the Ottoman Empire. So, Erdogan, are you, or are you not an inheritor of the Ottomans? Seems to me, you want to have it both ways. How very AC/DC:-)

If the international criminal court, ICC, actually convicted the Israeli soldiers of the charges against them from Turkey, would Israel actually turn them over for sentencing? Or would the government protect them? I would hope the Israeli government would protect them!

Turkey invaded North Cyprus in 1974. It has been 38 years and yet Turkey still did not win that war since no other country recognizes Northern Cyprus except Turkey. Do you believe that wars are won on the battlefield? Wars are won and lost at the diplomacy table. When it comes to diplomacy Turks are nowhere near the Israelis. In fact in the past it was Israeli diplomacy that helped Turkey for example in the lifting the USA embargo to Turkey established after the invasion of Cyprus.
