Chris Rettenmoser ,   Bayerisch Gmain Germ   (06.10.12)
are ***DEFINITELY*** OUT of the question !
3. Dagan is on the payrol
(06.10.12)
Dagan is on the payroll of the CIA. If Israel attacks Iran, Obama loses the elections soundly due to the massive gas price hikes & economic collapse. Dagan's really campaigning for Obama's re-election.
4. baldy is a grave security threat
(06.10.12)
baldy is a grave security threat to Israel both because of his words & also because of his shining head which is an excellent target for an Iranian nuclear missile.
5. who the hell does he
(06.10.12)
who the hell does he think he is.....giving interviews and preening around on TV for the cameras. Dagan should be locked up for sedition or handed over to his Iranian friends.

Israeli 2   (06.10.12)

(06.10.12)
Is The supremeless lead no where!!!!! Now that the ILLEGAL regime IS CRUMBABLING WHAT BETTER TO HAPPEN, than the Iranian people OVERTHROWING the little bearded monkey and Henchman putting them on trial for the Slaughter of Iranian people!!!!!! They will Surely Be Handed Down The Death Sentences They Justly Deserve. Now SANCTIONS HAVE TO BE STEPPED UP UNTIL THIS ILLEGAL regime BREATHS NO MORE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ברוך הא שם
8. was it his babbling that costed Eli Cohen's lif ein Damascus
ab   (06.10.12)
He was an associate of Assad Sr and was passing the vital miltary info on Syria-until Israeli papers started to publish leaked info about his existence. Alerted Syrians tracked him down and hanged him publicly in Damascus. What was Dagan's role in that ?
9. The problem with Dagan...
Eli ,   Jerusalem   (06.10.12)
is not that that he is not a bright fellow or that there are not different views on the approach to Iran. The problem with Dagan is that he does not say what he says in order to promote positive discussion at all. He tries to weaken the current ELECTED government of Israel and cynically uses this issue to promote his own political career. The man is a disgusting mut.
10. If you don' t understand so you should really shup up
(06.10.12)

(06.10.12)
12. Imbecille !.
Arn. ,   Sweden.   (06.10.12)
I Quote - Dagan said, "The heart and soul of democracy, is the debate on issues of war and peace. Comment -' Arn said, "The Heart and Soul of War and Peace, is not the debate on issues of Democracy !. Arn.Sweden.
13. Listen
michael Pielet ,   Israel   (06.10.12)
Democracy, as he defines it, is an unlimited right not to be constrained by national security or the lives of our soldiers that place their lives on the line to protect us. Oh, by the way the Prime Minister may be right, sanctions may not work the world really does not care. Iran will never give up voluntarily on its right to build a nuclear weapon, bomb. When the nuclear bomb is built the first think the iranians will do is drop the bomb on Tel Aviv. Why else would the Iranians build a nuclear bomb? Listen to the iranians, listen what do they say. If a war comes to Europe, a war that I am planning, European Jewry will be destroyed. Listen, Amalak is speaking.
14. Bravo Dagan
Philip . ,   Afula, Israel   (06.10.12)
You are totally correct, debate is the heart and soul any real democracy .You should be praised for presenting your case and ideas.
15. Last resort and not first option
Noodles ,   Coney Island   (06.10.12)
The first option was never utilized, so that would make the last resort viable anytime from here on out, and I'm sure Bibi will know exactly when and how to order it into action.
16. To #1, So people?
jeff ,   uk   (06.10.12)
what people, those who purchased facebook stock or those who overpaid for their homes and now cant afford to buy break? please, the avg person is too busy texting and updating facebook pages following by popping pills, to be able to notice anything
17. Mr. Dagan
Rudy ,   Cincinnat OH, USA   (06.10.12)
The last two paragraphs containg his suggestions are excellent (they are the same as the Obama Adminintrations,) but Iran is not going to change its behaviour until she finds the limits of US/Israel's capabilities. Unfortunately, despite tough talk by both parties, the US will NOT bomb Iran. THAT, Mr. Dagan cannot publicly acknowledge.
18. Yes & No
Yakov ,   Tel Aviv   (06.10.12)
Yes, I am in favor of transparency and open democracy. That is certainly one of the many wonderful qualities to Israel. But, planning a war, and intelligence in general must be kept secret. This I am in favor of. Allowing our enemy's to know our plans, places our children at risk. That is unacceptable, and supersedes transparency. This is a trade-off to the democratic process, but to protect our children, a worthy trade.
19. Orthodox milah NOT TORAH
I-me ,   Atlantis   (06.10.12)
Jehova-Adonay's command rela- tes to the excision of the "orla" (fo- reskin) only. In talmudic times, fa- natical rabbis added the excision al- so of the "periah", the thin membrane under the " "orlah" that covers part of the penis, and also added the asucking of blood, These two additions are not co- mmanded in the TORAH, but are only man-made absurd "command- ments" and cruel of course.
20. I am in Iran when you are attacking
Wang Zuli ,   Shanghai   (06.10.12)
I am not afraid. I am defending the true side.
21. #3, paranoid much?
mea   (06.10.12)
22. #16
(06.10.12)
It was a joke. the point I was trying to make is that in order to make an informed decision, all the facts need to be out in the open. This dim wit wants the people to debate an issue who's facts and intelligence reports are confidential. So tongue and cheek I called to release all this info to the public. Obviously this is ridiculous even to consider.
23. Everybody...
Michael ,   Haifa   (06.10.12)
.......has the right to express his opinions, just as any idiot here in talkback has that sae right
24. Dagan
David ,   Nyc   (06.10.12)
The public elected people that are better informed and more centralized to make decisions. I can't believe this guy was the head of the Mossad. Seems he got to this position from political wits and not battlefield heroics
25. dagan a realist man
incognoito   (06.10.12)
dagan should tell the thrue: iran is going to nuclear ( already) despite all what the us ( let alone israel ) can do. it will not be so sad BTW.
26. sanctions failing
(06.10.12)
You have to ask Obama whats the use of "10% sanctions with waivers" ? Iran is mostly self-sufficient in food items, only few imported items like cars, gadgets etc are affected. Also has over $100 billion in cash reserves in tax-havens & gold bullion, which is enough for few years. A total naval & land blockade may have been more effective, but not such eye-wash sanctions. And since many countries like India, Turkey are co-operating with Iran in thwarting the sanctions, they are clearly not effective.
27. The attack will destroy us
Keren IL-BR   (06.10.12)
Any attack against Iran will be the end of our dreams here. That's why the subject shall be extensively debated before a measure is taken.
28. Ignorant debate at heart of Democracy
Rube Vogel ,   Jerusalem   (06.10.12)
Dagan is right. Debating supposed "facts" out of total ignorance is at the very heart of Israeli political discourse.
29. dagan & obama
Dan Goldman   (06.10.12)
And when mushroom clouds rise over Tel-Aviv & Israel, Dagan & Obama will still be talking of sanctions & "all options are on the table".
30. @27 no, it won't destroy the shell, but the Hashem will
Miron ,   USA   (06.10.12)
Israel's purpose is not to merely live on. She has purpose. It's not in attacking Iran.
