What other Judea and Samaria residents have lacked until now is a UNIFIED INDEPENDENT ORGANIZATION - A SETTLERS UNION. For some reason your grassroots leaders have misdirected your efforts towards small projects and small activism - failing (who knows why) to encourage a Yesha Union that would lead to real clout with government. Right now settlers are divided and weak. Which leads to a sense of helplessness. When other smaller expulsions took place in the past couple of years - there was barely any outrage from neighboring communities. The targets were regarded as "illegal outposts", so nobody cared much. Now it's Ulpana's turn. Some day it will be other settlers' turn. Perhaps the same ones who are indifferent to your plight today. And as the government clears one settlement after another, those Jews too will be all alone, without the support and strength of the hundreds of thousands of their brothers and sisters. DEAR ISCAH, your best revenge now will be to spearhead a movement to unite all settlement communities under ONE independent organization to fight for ALL of you, and to focus all efforts towards real and positive changes in how the government and the courts deal with you. And what do you think happened to all the Jewish-owned homes, businesses and property in East Jerusalem, Judea and Samaria in 1948? So, who are you calling "thieves?"

How would you characterize the summary expulsions of one million Jews from Arab and Moslem lands with little more than the clothes on their backs?
