1. Miss Corrie
frank sol ,   san diego, USA   (08.28.12)
The Israelis never do any mistakes, all they do is perfect, even Gaza war, Lebanon war, etc. They even consider themselves the ''chosen people'' by no less than God. Miss Corrie is considered collateral damage, no more, no less. The whole world must stay away of injustices to Palestinians, they must learn to deal with it by themselves, or else...
2. No surprise
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (08.28.12)
The court in Haifa has reached the same conclusion as the three other courts in which the Corrie family have brought suit. No payday for the Corries out of their daughter's suicide (that's what the U.S. District Judge in Washington called it). Pretty despicable that the Corries would try to profit from Rachel's death, though, isn't it?
3. negligence couldn't have been a character

4. Saint Rachel was a fool
zionist forever   (08.28.12)
Not even a child would stand in front of a moving bulldozer because they would know chances are they will get hit by it. Saint Rachel Corrie darling of the left was 23 years old and should have certainly understood how dangerous and stupid it was what she was doing. It doesn't matter if you love or hate the woman and her cause nobody can deny what she did was stupid and she brought it upon herself. Its actually kind of pathetic one minute she is some nobody Corrie she decides to pull a stupid stunt the no rational person would consider, she gets herself killed and people start to look at her as Saint Rachel the martyr and somebody whose example we should follow. In Tel Aviv we got that Moshe Silman, he set himself on fire at a protest and he became an overnight hero he became a hero of the social justice movement and others started setting themselves o as well. The Rachel Corries & Moshe Silmans of this world are a threat to society as well as themselves.
5. A reasonabler verdict. Time to call it quit for her family.
Michael ,   California, USA   (08.28.12)
While I may admire her idealism, her actions were foolish. The IDF remains unscathed by blame.
6. Justice!
Linichka ,   Gdynia, Poland   (08.28.12)
I am sorry that they lost their daughter, but glad they lost the suit. It's always regrettable when young people die - all the more so when it is from their own foolishness. Corrie went into harm's way of her own volition, obviously fancying herself a heroine.
7. Get ready for the backlash
Ephraim ,   Jerusalem   (08.28.12)
I do not know enough about all the precise facts of this case to have an honest opinion, and neither does anyone else outside that courtroom. That being said, this woman did put herself in harm's way, and unfortunately lost her life. Regardless of the justness of this verdict, there will be tirades around the world condemning Israel. Get ready for the worst.
8. Justice is served
jay abouaf ,   Jaffa, Israel   (08.28.12)
Foolish fascist appeasement lost.
9. the ONLY right verdict
tiki ,   belgium   (08.28.12)
May the venom spewing begin! This family (although I understand their terrible pain for losing a daughter) has nobody else to blame but their stupid, irresponsible daughter, just another victim of the 'Palestinian rights fairytale. She wasn't the first, she won't be the last. A whole bunch of WUI's (Western Usefull Idiots) are standing in line to follow her 'heroic path.
10. buck passing extraordinaire
Steve ,   USA   (08.28.12)
I suppose the death of any young person is tragic, however Corrie's parents, in a crude attempt to capitalize on and politicize the death of their daughter, has created a backlash where level headed people must condemn the actions of this misguided and irrational girl. As a former Cat D-4 operator (considerably smaller than D-9) during the Yom Kippur War, I can state that while inside the operators enclosure and with the bucket deployed, visibility is severly limited, which is why people are instructed to remain ay least 50 feet away from the machine. Placing one's self in the path of an operating earth mover is somewhat like playing on railroad tracks while a train approaches. I imagine it was not a pretty sight, but screw her parents for raising a child without a modicum of common sense, and then assaulting the State of Israel for their severe shortcomings as parents. They have become the toast of the Israel hating Left, when they should be humble and contrite for the impaired judgement they passed on to their late daughter.
11. #3 obserever
Marco ,   Spain   (08.28.12)
Please observer, haven't you been able to observe yet that there is no such thing as the most moral army? There is such thing however as the most moral resistance force and that is HEZBOLLAH...
12. Personal Tragedies
EM ,   Ra'anana   (08.28.12)
Rachel Corrie died in an unfortunate accident. Could it have been avoided? Yes...every accident can be avoided...if only. Close friends recently lost their beloved daughter on the 'Death Road" in Bolivia. Her bicycle slipped off the cliff. No one is suing in Bolivian courts for not preventing the accident. After all the Bolivian Government could have put up barriers, they could have paved the road, they could have stopped all tourists from reaching the road. Our friend's daughter chose to bicycle on a narrow mountain path called "Death Road". Rachel Corrie chose to stand in front of a moving bulldozer in a war zone. Both are personal tragedies..for their familes and friends. If the Corries continue to pursue 'justice' in this case...it would reflect at this point, political motivation.
13. Justice is done!

14. Poor girl.
Philip . ,   Afula Israel   (08.28.12)
Could not tell the difference between reality and make believe. She died in a conflict that was not hers, where she did not understand the difference of fantasy teenage ideals and the war of survival in the world hardened by reality. Her ideals were maybe pure, but her knowledge of the political and cultural reality was unfortunately very juvenile.
15. Political Lawsuit
Yakov ,   Tel Aviv   (08.28.12)
First, American's are a suit happy society. They file 90% of all lawsuits on the entire planet. Civil litigation is like a lottery in the States. Keep filing suit's until you win. Second, this was a politically driven filing. These are terrorist loving, Jew hating, have no life Americans. She consciously made the decision to go to Gaza, and another very bad decision to intercede in a military action. Foolish Woman! That is not a reason for a lawsuit. Kol HaKavod to our legal system!
16. The American people
Kirsty Wark   (08.28.12)
should remember this verdict. When Netanyahu turns up in Washington in September demanding that the United States attack Iran on Israel's behalf. Israel has no respect for American deaths, why die on behalf of Israel?
17. ANOTHER CUPID STUNT
DA URBAN POET ,   SAFED OPERA HOUSE   (08.28.12)
To hell with Rachel Corrie and her memory. One does not play " chicken " with a huge bulldozer .Cry me a river over this stupid and misguided moron who supported terrorists.
18. corrie
caleb ,   israel   (08.28.12)
some religious institution should at least beatify her!
19. sorry for her parents for their tragic loss.
(08.28.12)
and sorry for her parents for bringing up a suicidal daughter.
20. Seek your consolation in Iran!
david ,   sanda City, Japan   (08.28.12)
Well, I am sure Iran would be willing to sell her parents a home where they could live On "Rachel Corrie Lane " Rather than projecting their blame onto Israel and the IDF, the parents ought to be doing some deep soul-searching as to where they went wrong in raising their daughter, who was gullibly seduced by the suffering Palestinian narrative. Only then may they have some closure that her death was in vain!
21. A short message to American readers
An Israeli   (08.28.12)
The death of Rachel Corrie is a tragedy. I honestly regret it and I wish her family will never know sorrow again. But don't be fooled - Rachel Corrie supported the same people who celebrated 9/11 attack. You don't need me to show you - open google open you tune and type "9/11 celebration" or "celebrating 9/11" "9/11 gaza" and see for yourself. Thank you.
22. Corries can still sue HAMAS
Bob ,   Canada   (08.28.12)
Perhaps one alternative is left open. The main reason poor Rachel dird was due to HAMAS actions against ISRAEL. Perhaps a Gaza court would hear her case and provide some compensation due to the fact that the Gazans could have blocked her appearance at the scene.
23. The irony is...
Stefan ,   Hamburg, Germany   (08.28.12)
...that even those who hate Israel so much that they dedicate their lives to its destruction, acknowledge, through their actions, the high morale standards of the Israeli army. Miss Corrie didn`t intend to commit suicide, I´m sure. She had all the faith of the world that the bulldozer wouldn`t harm her. Why? Because the driver was an Israeli (and because she didn`t figure out that there was a risk of not being seen by the driver. She was right in so far as he had stopped had he seen her). Nobody would put himself in front of a bulldozer if he knows that a Palestinian drives it. Not even Miss Corrie would have done that.
24. Anyone think about how the soldier must
Arlene ,   Israel   (08.28.12)
feel. I am sure its something he wont forget either, but was impossible for him to see this suicidal girl standing in front of him. She died and he probaly suffered a truama. Maybe his family should sue! She did her thing, he didnt ask for her choosing him for her suicide.
25. CORRIE WINS DARWIN AWARD
DA URBAN POET ,   SAFED OPERA HOUSE   (08.28.12)
No intelligent person stands in front of or challenges a gigantic and mammoth Bulldozer. No sympathy from me this time.
26. Kirsty Wark - how strange of you!
Brian Cohen ,   Judean Peoples Front   (08.28.12)
When Abbas turns up in Israel what are you going to say? Palestinian terrorists have murdered dozens of American citizens all over the world and they glorify every act of murder. By your standards, why do you support the Palestinians? Or are you a Hamas supporter since they actually attacked an American diplomatic convoy in Gaza and murdered Americans there? Yes - Americans will remember this verdict that an American rabble-rouser came to a known war zone and got involved in one side of a shooting war.
27. A USA flag burning Burqa wearing martyr, shouting with a
