31. clear as fountain water...
EISENFELD ,   ISRAEL   (09.20.12)
One thing is obvious: he has been very negative with Israel because empowering the most radical enemies as the muslim britherwood. What prevented him to go more destructive is the elections in US. You can easyly imagine what it will be without this contraint.
32. #15
Logic ,   Israel   (09.20.12)
I expect that he will lose between 7% - 15% of the Jewish vote this time in comparison to 2008, especially with the elderly Jewish community in Florida. It remains to be seen if this will matter.
33. #19: Not voting for Obama-called Democracy
Ari ,   Chicago   (09.20.12)
Jews should NOt always be sacred to support Israel.. It is called Democracy. you can vote for anybody you wish for and for any reason. It is not unpatriotic to care about Israel like many other Americans care about other countries over a president. . Americans only expect to be loyal to the constitution and rule of Law , not the leader. Jews in Democracy shoula care about Israel survival first because they are the one who will come first for them if there is antisemetism. Obama will not lift a finger .
34. Sensationalist
Scott ,   Florida   (09.20.12)
Another sensationalist article about how horrible Obama is for Jews. Have you all forgotten how many Israeli deaths occurred while the Republicans held office, a second intifada, a disastrous 2006 war encouraged by their new middle east doctrine. Furthermore, what you fail to understand is that a strong America = a strong Israel, and Willard Romney has proven he simply does not have what it takes to hold the highest office. Obama 2012
35. Do you people not realize how obnoxious these articles are?
Jeff ,   USA   (09.20.12)
Most of it isn't even true... even JStreet doesn't support the right of return.
36. Judge by deeds, not propoganda
Jon ,   USA   (09.20.12)
Bosh, the great Israel lover promised to move the Embassy to Jerusalem. Do you have the new address yet? What happen the last 4 years, the US did not support Israel in the UN, did not send billions, did not send more money for the Iron Dome? What he got in return? Israel sticking its finger in his eye every time. And after the unrepresented intervention in the US election, he should be stupid not to take it into account. Before you blame somebody, take a look at the mirror first.
37. A spoteless article,well done!!!!
Anna M Sedda ,   Rome-Italy   (09.20.12)
38. Obama vs Romney
Chuck ,   San Francisco, USA   (09.20.12)
Jews in both of our countries should realize that Romney’s economic policies negate most of the values enumerated in the second blessing of the Amidah. Americans voting in this election should not choose the candidate on the basis of who will drop the bigger bomb on Iran, but whose domestic policies will lead to a stronger America in the future. Israelis, such as the writer of this editorial, should be clear on the concept that if the American economy tanks under proven failed Republican policies, funds to support Israel will fall far down on the list of this country’s priorities.
39. sara b#4
avi ,   nyc   (09.20.12)
um , by the number of Jews driving Nazi cars i would say many have forgotten btw are there now two sara b's?
40. Obama doesn't care about Israel and neither do Jews in USA..
Rena ,   Israel   (09.20.12)
Israel just has to do what's best for Israel and thank G-d Netanyahu (by explaining the reality to Americans directly) seems to be doing that.
41. OBAMA MAY BE ANTI-BIBI... BUT HE'S NOT ANTI-ISRAEL!
Rafi ,   US   (09.20.12)
42. What was it 70%...
Obama Supporter   (09.20.12)
...of American Jews would vote for Obama again? What is it like to be in the minority? See you for another 4 years :)
43. Rubbish
Barry ,   Boston   (09.20.12)
Just because the specifics aren't mentioned doesn't mean that Israel is going to be forced to do anything it doesn't want to do. The 2012 platform says the following: "It is precisely because of this commitment that President Obama and the Democratic Party seek peace between Israelis and Palestinians. A just and lasting Israeli-Palestinian accord, producing two states for two peoples, would contribute to regional stability and help sustain Israel's identity as a Jewish and democratic state. At the same time, the President has made clear that there will be no lasting peace unless Israel's security concerns are met." What more is needed?
44. War warned!!!
Jusanz77. ,   Vzla.   (09.20.12)
Although the question of who will be president of the USA, is a problem that belongs to the American people respond. When I read some members of the Jewish People believe in the good intentions of Obama with Israel. As the Jewish people one of the most persecuted in the last 2000 years, and that anyone would believe, that have a special meaning to sense danger. It seems that not everyone has this virtue. Obama is a friend of Israel, as the Big Bad Wolf can be of Little Red Riding Hood. In the Cairo speech took for himself, the Palestinian narrative of the conflict. And the Muslim vision of Western-Muslim conflict. If Obama is re-elected as president of the United States will remove the mask of lamb, and show the real wolf fangs. War warned, not kill soldier, and if he dies, is neglected.
45. Should Obama be fortunate enough to win a second term....
Noodles ,   Coney Island   (09.20.12)
he will be well sobered up by the end of it.
46. if Obama gets a second term he will be brutal
zionist forever   (09.20.12)
If Obama hated Israel first time round and was constantly trying to harm it so he could suck up to the Muslims until he had to start thinking about election time when he had to be seen as the most pro Israel president in history. As he doesn't have to worry about getting reelected in 2016 Obama can take the gloves off and harm us as much as he likes and do it for a whole four years. He is also going to want revenge for Bibi's support for Romney so he is going to start treating Israel like its America's worst enemy. Please all you Americans out there do not let Obama & his Muslim friends have the last laugh here. He wants blood from Israel but he also screwed up America so vote Romney.
47. Very good information--thank you.
mea   (09.20.12)
48. Chuckie #38 lol
avi ,   nyc   (09.20.12)
what a joke. Do you even know which side of the amidah is up? those Jews that actually say the Amidah, are largely voters on the right in both America and Israel. Those on the left boo Jerusalem and are more concerned in gay rights or abortion rights than Israel. Most have never even visited Israel. Americas economy has been tanking under the tutelage of the Anti semite in chief, but lets not confuse you with the facts. Perhaps you should familiarize yourself with Birchas HaMinim
49. If That's Your Criteria For Chosing . . .
emanon ,   USA   (09.20.12)
. . . you're screwed no matter who you vote for. Romney, and the Reigious Wrong backing him, will seek to turn the US into a Christian nation and Jews will be hounded on a daily basis. According to your editorial, Obama will dismantle Israel. Speaking personally, given those two choices, I will back the candidate that keep me free from persecution and harassment in my home country.
50. #41,42; Self hating Jews!!!
Ori ,   Chicago, USA   (09.20.12)
If Obama wins you and fellow US Jews will cry and no body will care. The history of the Jewish people is full of examples of how the Jews relied on the enemies and believe in the enemies and they turned on the jews and salughtered them. When US economy will fail , they will turn on the Jews and Obama will stop nothing. Look at the fires in the MIddle East/
51. Horing article
Phil Green ,   Hallandale USA   (09.20.12)
There are 39 Jews in the USA Congress, one is a Republican!! Israeli citizens should stay out of American elections.
52. Sarah ,B
Haim ,   Mexico   (09.20.12)
Frankly i dont understand whats your point. One part you dont agree with the policy President Obama towards Israel (neither do i) On the other part you critsize Romney Who is a very supportive of Israel Unless are many Sarah B Please explain me Thank you HASHEM bless you and your family
53. Odd Election, but dull
David N. ,   Haifa, ISRAEL   (09.20.12)
Odd election with two non-Christian men running for office. A Mormon and a Sunday pseudo-Christian with a Muslim father and an atheist mother. Why would the religious right vote for either man, if religion is their basis? Jews should just stop pretending they're Americans and come home. Eventually, they'll be chased out anyway.
54. Self destructive Jews
Jack ,   Pierre,SD.. USA   (09.20.12)
This article is exactly correct. The fact that 70% of American Jews support Obama is further proof that Jews are probably the most self destructive people in the world. Clearly this president is not a supporter of Israel and does not have its best interest in mind as well as being a miserable failure in all aspects of his presidency. I pray for a Romney victory to save both Israel and the U. S.but an Obama victory will give you self hating Jews the president you deserve
55. # 48
Chuck ,   San Francisco, USA   (09.20.12)
How typical of those of strong religious beliefs to accuse those not agreeing with them (or their rebbes or imams) of heresy! Best for you to study the Talmud's teachings on tolerance and arrogance.
56. The Jews that support Obama
avi ,   nyc   (09.20.12)
Are the Jews least likely to make aliya or have Jewish grandchildren. THERE, I SAID IT
57. #2 you have been watching CNN too long
Iris ,   Jerusalem   (09.20.12)
58. Chuckie#55
avi ,   nyc   (09.20.12)
how typical for a non Jewish Jew to amatuerishly try to play the Jew card. Perhaps you can purchase a siddur and learn whats in the amidah, before you advertise your ignorance.
59. Obama
Don ,   Indy USA   (09.21.12)
I used to have great respect for you Sarah, but now I realize you are just another Obama loving LIBERAL.
