Yes we are neighbours. I speak, read and write Arabic and my family come from an Arab country. I undertake business with Arabs including many trips to Arab countries due to the fact I have an EU passport. If an Arab citizen of Israel wants to identify as an Israeli and take on all of the responsibilities of dcitizenship such as sherut leumi or army services pay taxes and arnona then he is my equal and I am prepared to die for him! If such a citizen identifies with Israel's enemies and actively seeks to destroy Israel then he will suffer the consequences. |t appears that the man that wrote this article does not pay taxes has not undertaken army service or sherut leumi and encourages separatism and hate and not peace and reconciliation. By the way I have also lived in 'Western democracies' and their racism and hatred of Jews and Muslims is horrendous. We have nothing to be ashamed of in Israel.

Is anyone saying to ignore terrorist acts committed against Israel? Of course not. It's not surprising this topic upsets Sarah B. After all, the majority of her posts showcase her bigotry, stereotyping and hate (she regularly calls for Arabs living in Israel and the disputed territories to be forcibly removed to Jordan. In other words, she's calling for acts that are clearly war crimes. The fact that it's tolerated on this Israeli site for someone to promote ethnic cleansing is telling.) Sarah B. and her posts are excellent examples of everything that is wrong with Israel.

It is hard to have an "open mind" when you are taught to hate a specific people at an early age. Brainwashing 101 and it happens on EVERY continent on our Earth. It is up to each and every person to choose to live in peace, or not. Choose wisely.

Habibi....while we appreciate your writing, opinions, and motivation, the majority of Arab Muslims are raised to hate Jews/Israel (Christians, Hindus, Buddhists, and the West in general),from birth. Until this type of negative culturalization ceases, and a positive one replaces it, there will always be justified suspicions of the followers of Islam. I have not been fed anti-Muslim/Arab propaganda since I was very young or ever for that matter. I have read the Quran however and that, I have to say, is all that one needs to do to find that "anti-Muslim propaganda" has a lot of truth in it. Unfortunately you seem to be blinded by anti-Israel propaganda and make sweeping generalisations which expose your own true agenda.
