91. Why, Why,Why?
Noah Lev ,   LosAngelesUSA   (11.19.12)
To Susan: All Jews and Christians must unite worldwide to end the Caliphate and Sharia law's advance. Europe is dying...the US is drifting, So.America has Islamic bases, Iran has 40,000 suicide bombers worldwide. Hez/Hamasboast of 100,000 rockets ( have fired 600 to date into Israel in one week). Israel is being blamed for the"aggression". Thats like blaming world Jewr yfor the invasionofPoland and Russia by Hitler.Oh we are convenient scapegoats..a divided people, with JSt, Peace Now groups, leftists, liberalism replacing the Torah, Jews who join anti-Israel groups, (Amnestry Intl, etc.) The Republicans wanted to move our embassy to Jerusalem..Obama said Nyet and we gave him our money and votes still. How we always cut our noses to spite our faces. A Democrat said, US Presidents always in the end support Israel..yeah,after thousands of Jews are killed and Israel finally wakes up and is on the offensive. Why didnt we break the blockade in 67? Why did we allow the UN to move with n oreplacements. Why did we encouage the cease firewith Egypt in73 when the 2nd and 3rd armies were surrounded by Sharon, etc.? Why is Israel not a part of NATO when Arabs cry, Jihad against US and Israel and burn our flag. Why do we apologize after a 15minute innocous movie mocks Islam...and the Muslim world explodes with violence. Why? Why?
92. The solution is simple
Yehuda ,   Ashdod, Israel   (11.19.12)
I don't understand the complexity here. There is a very simple solution to the entire problem. 1. Declare that Gaza is no longer tied to Israel. They are independent and can declare themselves to be an independent country. 2. Since this new country has the avowed goal of destroying Israel, Israel will close its border with Gaza, in the same way that the Iron Curtain separated the West from the East throughout the Cold War. 3. Israel will NOT provide this enemy state with water, electricity, funds, humanitarian aid, jobs, or anything else. If the Gazans want to deal with Egypt, let them. 4. If the new state of Gaza makes war with Israel, Israel will carpet bomb all of Gaza in the same way that the Allies bombed Dresden and many other cities in WWII. 5. If the new state of Gaza proves itself to be a friendly neighbor, trade relations will start. Any issues here? I don't see them.
93. A true Nation
Zsolt Hermann ,   Wanganui,New Zealand   (11.20.12)
The outside world keeps doubting that Israel has the right to exist in its historic place. The Diaspora Jewry sometimes wishes Israel did not exist so their life would be easier in their host countries. The truth is this is simply a reaction to how Israel portrays itself. It is true that during external pressure, or during last year's social protests Israel demonstrated solidarity, unity, but when the external pressure subsides, the underlying fragmentation, rejection even hatred becomes all too obvious. Israel and Jews in general are still only a collection of people tied together by history, some loose traditions and most by external pressure. If finally we came together as a single nation, within and around the land of Israel, projecting a very strong unity and mutual guarantee as described in our ancient writings, nobody would ever question if we are a nation that has a right for a country, right for existence in our historic homeland. Instead of searching for and fighting the external enemy endlessly we have to find the solution within. Our national unity is the strongest shilled that can save us and attract positive devotion from the rest of the world.
