All war is always about plans and alternative plans because the political and military situation changes by the hour its never black and white. Even with the best plans sometimes they need to be changed very quickly because of unexpected incidents. A ground war should be avoided if there is a practical alternative that can achieve results but the IDF casualties will be high although we must keep all options on the table which Bibi appears to have as the amount of armour and reserves called up to the border is not just there for show. If there is a ground war it probably won't happen for another couple of days at least because the IDF wants to damage the capabilities of Hamas to fire rockets or kill soldiers if there is a ground operation so we shouldn't expect to see tanks rolling within the next couple of hours.
