If the world worked on this cockamamie "principle" of "I'll keep beating the bejesus out of you and humiliating you until you stop hating me," no conflict would EVER finish. I've got news for you: Despite appearances, the overwhelming majority of the half-billion-plus Arabs don't really care about Israel or the Palestinians, and I say this as someone who's lived in a dozen different Arab states. There are no doubt many Palestinians who hate all Jews (and not just Israelis/Zionists.) But there are many more Palestinians who just want to have a nation that is not under the boot of Israel. It is these people we need to reach out to and these people who will be empowered if we work with the Palestinians toward the establishment of a Palestinian state(while the extremists will consequently be marginalized to the point of irrelevancy.) If you choose to conflate those who hate Jews with those who hate the policies of the Israeli government, that is your right. And it's my right to call you a simpleton for doing so.

I suggest you read Hamas' charter (as I have in the original Arabic). Nowhere is it mentioned that all Jews should be killed. Indeed, nowhere in the document is the killing of anybody urged. On the contrary, in several articles, it calls for equal legal protection for Muslim, Jewish and Christian Palestinians.

In 1947 UN suggested 2 states for Jews and Arabs ( Palestinians Of Today! ) Solution BUT the Arabs refused to accept this PEACEFUL Resolution And Left It As The Ugly Face as The World Are Witnesses it Today. try googling 'Hamas Charter'. It's Hamas's constitution document. It is available in English, translated directly from the Arabic: However, Arabic is a very 'flowery' language. If you take the time to read it properly and look past the rhetoric, you will find that that Hamas state their commitment to killing JEWS (Not just Israelis, or Zionists) WORLDWIDE (actually, they state universally).

I am quite sure there are some Palestinians who do not hate Jews per se, but I don't believe your claim that they are in the majority actually holds water. The fact that Hamas and the PA ensure that Jew hatred is taught to Palestinian children in their schools from a very early age, and Shahidism / Jihad is glorified and encouraged, makes this unlikely to change. No doubt you've heard the famous quote from Golda Meir. However, I've been visiting Israel regularly for 30+ years now, and I've discussed the Palestinians with many people there. All the ones I've spoken to have felt pity - not hate- , for the 'average' Palestinian, that they have been maintained in their perpetual misery by their leaders , who hold their hatred of Israel above their concern for their own people's welfare.

The term "Arab Spring" isn't even semitic. It was whipped up by the western media commentators as far back as March 2005 as a beneficial spin to the invasion of Iraq. Now that country is merely a conduit for Iranian and Russian arms into the ME. A very artificial term, to say the least.

You don't read Arabic, do you? Please give us your translation of Article 7 of the Hamas Charter where the extermination of Jews is called for. Also, there is no part that calls for "equal legal protection" for Muslims, Jews and Christians. In fact, Articles 2 and 5 say the opposite. If you read Arabic, you would know that.
