1. Bravo Lapid!!
Yossef   (03.11.13)
I didn't vote for you and next time I'l vote for Bennet but I must agree that I like you and what you are doing (I'm even surprised), and I like your people.
2. Keeping poromise to their voters, L & B, great performance.
Michael ,   California, USA   (03.11.13)
When were there Knesset members in Israel who tried so hard to deliver what they promised to their supporters? Lapid promised to reduce the idiotic number of government Ministers, and he is doing just that. Wonderful, bravo, Centrist way of doing things, keeping government waste to the minimum. Shame on those MKs from Likud & Beiteinu who are pushing personal promotion agendas ahead of what is good for the country. Those egotists should be fired right away.
3. As far as I am concerned
Sagi   (03.11.13)
this is total capitulation. Deputy minister is a sinecure and is not only an unnecessary position, it is an immoral act to create and appoint someone just as it is immoral for that person to expect the position and accept the appointment. I hope those 8 deputies will have a trace of conscience each time they get into their luxury cars and each month as they accept their salary, all this from taxpayers money that will be spent on superfluous and invented positions.
4. next government
Mordechai ,   Beit Shemesh   (03.11.13)
wait, wait, it can all fall down if Lapid has given an inch on the national service for all at 18. if he agrees to 22 for the Haridim he will have lost all his voters. Period. Only the IDF can decide who goes to the army who goes to National Service and who gets a haridi exemption nothing in any coalition agreement. period!!!
5. Erkahim
Zechariah   (03.11.13)
Always someone gets irked where is the Bittul (Humbleness) .the Haredim need humbleness .
6. mofaz and livni
milson   (03.11.13)
livni will be reduced to one ministerial job and removed from peace talks as she is supremely unqualified for it. Mofaz will not get a miinisters' job. He'll get some other appointment. If he doesn't like it, he can drop out.
7. More Portfolios Mean More Stable Government
Chaim Ben Kahan ,   Efrat, Israel   (03.11.13)
When the different factions have Portfolios and when the different MKs have positions, this means they are less likely to bring down the government. This makes the government more stable and the costs of new and constant elections is far more expensive than the costs of more portfolios.
8. Just get on with it, will ya. Enough is enough.
Harry Wright ,   UK   (03.11.13)
9. Lapid accepted the poisoned chalice!
Michael Redbourn ,   Arad Israel   (03.11.13)
Bibi conned Lapid and Lapid will be a nobody four years from now. "A poisoned chalice" Something that harms the person it is given to although it seemed very good when they first got it!
10. amazing lapid & Bennett
Ephraim ,   beit shemush   (03.12.13)
I voted for Netanyahu only for one reason, Barak Obama. I know he won't capitulate to every demand of Obama. but after Obama is out of office, Bennett and lapid seem true to their word. congratulations for following through. yallah Lets get the government announced already! doshydoshy editham, looks like you were wrong again haha
11. Mofaz
Dan S.   (03.12.13)
Can be appointed minister of political failure as he is an expert at this. Taking the Knessets largest party down to one that just barely made the threshold takes some talent.
12. The headline and the content
Sagi   (03.12.13)
are misleading. There will be 21 Ministers and not 20. Lieberman when he returns will be #21 or if he does not return then it will be his replacement. Very bad reportage.
