Just because I am upset by this video clip of an unarmed shepherd being harassed does not make me Leftist,funded or any sort of agent.I am not a deadly enemy of Israel.I live here.I am not an ungrateful spoiled brat or for that matter,a Baruch Goldstein supporter,(never met anyone who is in Tel Aviv) and the shepherd is not a terrorist.He and his family have probably lived there for many generations.and just wish to do their work without being harassed by settlers or soldiers.I'm sick of people saying that we are not allowed to have an opinion which may differ from the government or far right line if we dont live here.Well,I do,and you do not,so the same must surely apply to you.

These precious soldiers have had their hands tied for far too long! So what can we expect when it's the government tying their hands and preventing them from reacting properly against those leftist and Arab scumballs - the proper reaction would have been to warn all of these vermin to get out within 1 minute or be shot. I have lived here in Israel for almost 5 years and have become increasingly alarmed at the situation on the West Bank.I am not religious so dont believe in God Given rights to living there.It was our governments post 1967 who encouraged settling there with housing subsidies,as "facts on the ground" Do you think that,perhaps that might be 'misconstrued' as expansionism? Unfortunately,I find it difficult to witness or hear or read about injustice of any sort.All I know is that whilst I wish Israel to continue to flourish,I dont see why .we cannot do this without making things worse across the line.Yes ,I know that the Arab politicians say that they really want no Israel,but I'm sure that the majority of people living there are mainly interested in living in peace and doing an honest day's work.But as each day passes we get them to hate us more and more so that they lump us all together as 'Jewish Israeli scumbags' ..as you presently regard them.Either there must be away out of this impasse or each side while suffering increasingly.. What is the solution? Is there one? Finally,I can tekll you coinfidently thatr there are many many peoiple here who totally agree with me,dont agree with settlements,but are able or prepared to bury their heads in the sand because of fear or convenience.I believe that we levelled such criticism of the German citizens many years ago.This is such a beautiful country which has achieved so much in 65 years.It is such a pity that we cannot all find some compromise so that we can live side by side.At this stage,even considering problems of 'cause and effect' is of no help.as it may be applied to either side's "mistakes'.
