It is a political forum, where nations vote in blocs in line with their political interests, and not according to what is legal or moral. There are the Arab and Islamic blocs, which always vote against Israel, the "non-aligned bloc" which votes with the Arabs, etc. Israel is not part of any regional bloc, so no regional bloc stands to gain anything politically by voting against the Arabs and Moslems in Israel's favor. The condemnations of Israel at the UN have nothing to do with International Law. A mutated, fraudulent interpretation of the 4th Geneva Convention is used as an excuse, in a way that would never stand up in an unbiased, apolitical court of law on the face of the earth.
