1. 2 Billion Trees?
Bruce ,   Netanya, Israel   (06.02.13)
Some fact checking PLEASE. Erdogan claims planting of 2B trees since 2002? That would be 200 Million A YEAR for the past 10 years. WHAT? I very much doubt that.

7. I cant stand erdogan hope he survives
zionist forever   (06.02.13)
The last thing we all need now is a turkish spring risk the country being taken over by the more hardline muslims especially considering Turkey is a major military power and we don't want muslim radicals commanding an army made up of modern equipment. I cannot stand Erdogan but we are better off safe than sorry.
8. lol at erdy the islamist
dov ,   jerusalem israel   (06.02.13)
9. In All Fairness...
Noami ,   Tel Aviv   (06.02.13)
... Everywhere in the world people need to get a permit to demonstrate. Even in Israel once we were five cars gathered at a meeting point to go on a trip together, and we were told by the police to move on. I'm abolutely no fan of Erdogan, but demonstrators worldwide might meet force if they have not coordinated with the government. A demonstration can turn into a riot very quickly.

12. Erdogan making the same mistakes
USA   (06.02.13)
by listening to those whisperings in his head that has corrupted most of the Middle East with their failed 7th century medieval theocracy model. It's a failed model in every way you wish to measure it and has failed so many nations, their people, and brought their leaders to doom. But Erdogan has not learned from the mistakes of the past.
13. His son makes business with Israel
Teoman ,   Ist.   (06.02.13)
while erdogan plays the super muslim in public, his son makes business with israeli companies, while he talks about human rights, he allows terror attacks IN TURKEY by pro western syrian terrorists. Erdogan will pay for Reyhanli and its smeary middle east policy...send this guy to washington or tell aviv, we dont need him here

18. #11 You forgot a few
A ,   Belgium   (06.02.13)
Clinton: I did not have sex with that woman, Spanish FM: Abbas wants to negotiate peace with Israel, Arafat: We shall never stop until we can go back home and Israel is destroyed... and thats the only honest one. May the eternal jackals of hell feast on his rotten, putrid bones forever.
19. re: Teoman #13
HaifaGuy   (06.02.13)
It's exactly because we think that conspiracy-crazed primitive paranoid schizophrenic idiots like you will take over that many in the civilized world would rather keep the devil we know in power. Why don't you cross the southern border and perish in infamy?
20. Erdogan
Cipora Julianna Kohn ,   Z   (06.02.13)
you should not have harassed israel, you should not have disrespected president peres, you should not have fueled the flames of jew hatred in your own country. you should learn history and you will see that all the empires and nations who tried to destroy the jewish people were destroyed themselves. your muslim brothers are slaughtering each other. as long as islam does not make permanent peace with the jewish state of israel, islam will only know misery. everywhere where jews were persecuted, wars followed. the passions turned against jews eventually turn inward against the instigators.
21. Excellent Cipora @ #20
Israeli 2   (06.02.13)
This goes for everyone and every entity that speaks evil or even only thinks evil about Israel. Exactly right.
22. What runs in his blood? His dad led protesters
Ghilmeini ,   AMereekah   (06.02.13)
who forced WWII ship the Stroma to be kicked out of Instanbul with no engines. It driffted into the Black Sea and was torpedoed by a soviet sub. Google "stroma." Erdogan is a power mad thug famous for the the quote that Democracy is a streetcar that you can just jump off. He is fascist scum to the core.
23. #11 & #18
Devorah   (06.02.13)
Let's not forget Barry Obama who (as he is shredding the U.S. Constitution), this past March, declared: "I am not a dictator. I'm the President."
24. its the mob at fault not erdogan
zionist forever   (06.02.13)
They have a problem with Erdogan and protest without permission. Police try to control the crowds with traditional riot control weapons like tear gas and water cannons. Some people may or may not been killed but in riots accidents can happen If these fools are not careful they will get their wish and Erdogan the dictator will go but he will be replaced by a radical muslim government.
25. Erdogan and his ministers are tyrants
Nasreen ,   Turkey   (06.03.13)
They ride roughshod on everyone. They won't accept any criticism. No one dares question them.Anyone who does is beaten up and thrown in Jail. These are arrogant tyrants.
