Is this the same Aldi that has branches all over the United Kingdom. If that is the case then there will be a genuine choice for the British people. I'd be extremely worried if you are an Israel firster

34. Trader Joe's
YT ,   USA   (07.22.13)
Trader Joe's is owned by Aldi. Wait until Trader Joe's is boycotted.
35. @26
Robert ,   Amsterdam   (07.22.13)
lol you start with the use of the word "fair". So what you are saying is actually that "yes we know we are wrong and its ok for us to get punished but hey look at the other one, they are doing it too". A pathetic reply, please do better.

CANCEL ALL CAR IMPORTS TO ISRAEL NOW. DEAL WITH SOUTH KOREA JAPAN CHINA SUHODA ETC ETC BUT NOT EUROPE. DONT GIVE THE PALESTINIANS ANY WORK FROM GAZA OR ANY OTHER PLACES.

mehrdad ,   germany   (07.22.13)
holocaust did not started in the gas chambers..it started with marking jews. we have the same here. first marking, then boykott and then de-humanization of jews and mass murder. jews have no place in the new EU reality. typical that it started in NL. a deeply antisemitic country in which anne frank was betrayed and jews can not go out with kippa anymore.
39. #3 Harold - Problem is that
BEN JABO (MACHAL) ,   ISRAEL   (07.22.13)
Arabs didn't recognize the 1948 borders, while Israel did I suggest you glance back into history, which shows that Arabs attacked the Jewish State on 514/48, while it was still within the 1948 UN Borders

BEN JABO (MACHAL) ,   ISRAEL   (07.22.13)
Others will follow by employing all the Arabs that will be thrown out of work How many do you intend to employ?
41. #9 Michael - The damage set in
BEN JABO (MACHAL0 ,   ISRAEL   (07.22.13)
when the Arabs ignored the UN 1948 Borders, attacking Israel instead
42. O, well.
Gabriel ,   Leiden, Netherlands   (07.22.13)
Aldi and Jumbo, augmented by Hoogvli(e)t. Three cheap ass retail chains if ever there were ones. Wake me up when the more reputable stores start doing the same. They won't because they aren't famous for having the big Muslim clientele that the three aforementioned dumps are known for.

Robert ,   Netanya   (07.22.13)
Amazing how most of the people here are ignoring the root cause, that's where the problem began and that is where the solution also is. What is going to happen in 30 years time, more muslims in Europe .. yes without a doubt but what about the 20% that you have in Israel already ... newsflash: they will reproduce as well .. and with a higher birthrate than in Europe. Unbelievable how ignorant to the facts you can be.
44. #2, 11, 14 Palestinian unemployment
(07.22.13)
There will be more room for Palestinian economic development once the bankrupt Israeli settlers leave. EU will gladly offer economic assistance, as always.
45. Proud again
Sarah ,   The Netherlands   (07.22.13)
to be a Dutch Jew. I hope my country also will give the tax bill to Israel. There was a deal, goods from Israel don't have to pay any tax, but Israel also sold settlement goods without paying the tax. We call it theft, just like Israel stole the money from the harbor in Gaza. Now you are crying? Shalom to The Netherlands and I hope many shops will follow.
46. #22 tiki in Benelux
(07.22.13)
High quality, at low prices: of course ALDI is German. However, ALDI in Germany doesn't boycott Settlement products. As ALDI's spokesperson says: >>Aldi is not interested in its products "being part of public discourse in any way." << What does that say about Germany and what about Benelux?
47. Put made in China labels on everything
DOV ,   USA   (07.22.13)
I won't be buying anything to do with Holland. I certainly will never put my foot on dutch soil. Tom Tom devices don't work anyway. Should be called Metumtum
48. Sent letter to aldi
mcu ,   us/is   (07.22.13)
I realize my 2 or 3 shopping trips a week to ALDI, will make zero impact on this one sided political and anti-israel statement. But my friends/family will stop going to any ALDI store. I will now boycott due to this horrible decision by the Dutch country. As a matter of fact I will no longer buy products from Holland, a once great and moral country. They are no different then Turkey, where I no longer spend my money. I look at where products are make or shipped from. BTW I did write to ALDI and let them know my feelings.
49. Hoogvliet and Aldi
Richard ,   The Hague Holland   (07.22.13)
S i Will never buy Their enymore. Not That i ever did Beaune these Chiains are The trash of supermarkts That do not comply with Health Ans safetyregulations.
50. Get your facts straight
B ,   Arnhem, Netherlands   (07.22.13)
It's Hoogvliet, not Hoogvlit. It's Jumbo, not Jambo. And the Aldi store pictured is not in Holland, but in Denmark.
51. The result: Arabs from Samaria and Judea will be fired.
Jehudah Ben-Israel ,   Qatzrin, Israel   (07.22.13)
Let us hope they realize Europe is the cause!!

How do you know how the birthrate will evolue here ? I have read that the birth rate of the Israeli Muslims is falling because they become more educated . This is so in all the societies , they evolue and have less children . We see that in Belgium and France there are more and more problems with muslims , their quantities are increasing . I had never seen an hallal restaurant or fast food in the center of Antwerp , now you have , and more than one .
53. @48 mcu
Ivor Evenbiggergun   (07.22.13)
I didn't realise they had Aldi stores in the United States
54. Jews from the entire world must boycott Dutchand !

55. Good move Holland.
Non Jewish immigrant ,   Haifa   (07.22.13)
I also boycott every single products from the illegal Jewish settlements. Everytime I shop I look very carefully where it's manufactured. You can find lists of companies that manufacture in the West Bank on the Internet. It's very useful when you shop!
56. @53 Ivor
mcu ,   us/is   (07.22.13)
Aldi is less the 3 miles from where I live in maryland...I will now go to a store that is about 5 miles, but not a aldi. Look up the aldi store locator on their web site. Bad aldi bad store chain...I want products when I shop, not politics!!!!!!
57. logical consequence
John ,   Netherlands   (07.22.13)
Why lamenting now? I thought the greater-israel lovers are not interested in the opinion from abroad? So go on and isolate yourself and harm Israel. The only good thing for Israel is peace in a Jewish state, with Palestians in an own state on the westbank and Gaza.

Gabriel ,   Leiden, Netherland   (07.22.13)
While I agree with you on the Muslim immigrants in this country (if anything, you were too kind) calling names is the norm here. Discourse on the talkbacks can get rather intense. Perhaps it would be best to conduct ourselves in English, so that other people understand what is being said to one-another. Cheers.
