61. I Shop At Aldi's
World Citizen ,   the world   (07.22.13)
And now I will buy even more. If Israelis would only come to their senses this sort of boycott wouldn't be necessary but it seem like the only thing that will make them change will be more actions like this.
62. 57 is right!!!
Nathaniel ,   Seattle, Wasington   (07.22.13)
For years on end now, we hear you lot boasting on that what the World thinks or does is none of your concern and that we could all ''shove it'' if we don't agree with each and everything you are doing, and you are crying wolf, now? Pathetic. But when push comes to ''shove'', you are the ones getting shafted, eh? Couldn't happen to a nicer bunch of ingrates. After all, you are but a small people screaming from the top of your lungs, and the World will move on just as it always has. The Dutch must be falling down laughing reading your more-than-hysterical comments, I know I would.
63. # 14 Dee Bee
Gilda Cohen ,   Rome   (07.22.13)
You are wrong. Palestinians dont need employment from Israel. What they need is freedom. Today they are not richer or poorer that other Arabs. But once the occupation is over, they can invest in their own country and build their nation as israel built hers. There is no justification whatsoever for the occupation. Not for employing Palestinians, not for security or religiousness. Oppress another people is not Jewish. This has been a cause for embarassment for us living in the diaspora. Let the Palestinians have their own life.
64. Aldi is GERMAN origin - WHAT WILL YOU EXPACT...?!?
(07.22.13)
Aldi is GERMAN origin - WHAT WILL YOU EXPACT...?!?
65. Time to boycott ALDI in the STATES too -
yiftach ,   israel   (07.22.13)
time to boycott ALDI and their illuminats freinds in the States, when buying food immed. !
66. No one
Adi ,   Amsterdam   (07.22.13)
I never see one single person going to the Aldi here near my house. It is always an empty supermarket. Even the muslims shop at their own halalsupermarkets in the cities. So, I don't think Israeli people should be worried.
67. #61 Out ofthis world
BEN JABO (MACHAL) ,   ISRAEL   (07.22.13)
Shop at Aldi's they have a piss poor selection of overpriced junk
68. Aldi and Trader Joe
David   (07.22.13)
Trader Joe has confirmed it is owned by the same trust that owns Aldi. Trader Joe is refusing to issue a statement making clear that it will not adhere to Aldi's boycott. What does that say about Trader Joe's?
69. #61 Shop at Aldi's
BEN JABO (MACHAL) ,   ISRAEL   (07.22.13)
And pay a high prices for a small selection of over-priced junk
70. #55. These lists increase Judea and Samaria business.
Chaim ,   Israel   (07.22.13)
Notice that everything Israel haters do always backfires on them? For instance, countless people use their boycott lists to find Judea and Samaria companies to do business with. The net impact of their boycott lists is to INCREASE business for Judea and Samaria companies.
71. Aldi boycott
Noel Murphy ,   Cork, Ireland   (07.22.13)
Life allows choices ... Aldi chooses to boycott settlement goods ... I choose to boycott Aldi stores ... simple. There are many other stores who do not boycott settlement goods that deserve my support.
72. pure antisemitism
nadav ,   tlv   (07.22.13)
why are these self righteous euro-quacks not boycotting products from occupied Western Sahara, Ossetia, Nagorno Karabak, Abkhazia, Kashmir, occupied kurdistan, Jammu, Falklands, Basque lands, Corisca, Northern Ireland, Northern Cyprus and Kosovo? Oh yeah, because those countries don't involve Jews and Jewish produced products. Israel should ban products from Dutch occupied Frisland,- two can play that way...
73. Good news really
Jon ,   Haifa   (07.22.13)
Prices in israel will drop slightly, we will end up firing alot of folks who should go work for their non existent state, and prices on israeli exports will rise. Enjoy paying more for our technology and medicine, and costing thousands of people their jobs while helping out the everyman in eretz israel proper.
74. 6 Robert Holland and the Jews
robert ,   antwerp belgium   (07.22.13)
I'm not surprised by Holland since it is in this country that a politician friendly with the Jews said that in a short time it will be impossible for non assimilated Jews to live there. In addition during 2nd ww Holand had one of the smallest ratio of survivors. For your information, the settlements were never the main issue between palestinians and Israel. The return of refugees is the only remaining stumbling block.
75. We, Jews, have been boycotted by European racists for
David   (07.22.13)
centuries. This is a continuation of the same social sickness so prevalent in Europe.
76. (27) Robert from Amsterdam
tiki ,   belgium   (07.22.13)
You are right, not 20%, but more than 50% in Amsterdam & R'dam & other big cities. Except the PC Hoofdstr. & Loosdrecht you can't walk around anywhere without being confronted with headscarves. As a 'white' European you are a minority everywhere. The Dutch have lost color, courage, identity, language & fortune. They have lost good schooling and good healthcare. Their prison system is exploding with the influx of new Dutch citizens. Stop fooling yourself Robert, because fools always lose!
77. Boycott Beatrice dutch food shop in Tel Aviv
Dutch Uncle   (07.22.13)
78. The Dutch have forgotten their history
Israeli 2   (07.22.13)
Civilization came to Holland when they allowed the Jews in. The education process began. Progress, science, advancement came immediately after. We shall never forget your hospitality at that time. Don't forget our contribution either.
79. I will shop ALDI more often!
george ,   nashville usa   (07.22.13)
definitely.
80. (46) didn't know
tiki ,   belgium   (07.22.13)
So it's only the über political correct discusting Dutch......again!
81. (50) B in Arnhem.
tiki ,   belgium   (07.22.13)
The 'facts' speak for themselves and so does the mindset of many Dutch who get annoyed about the spelling, but not the acts & the facts!
82. #72 Because you're special. Enjoy it :)
(07.22.13)
83. More Nations to follow
chester ,   Miami   (07.22.13)
The world sees settlements as temporary and views the squatters with disgust. Some people never learn.
84. Trader Joes
Ron ,   oc us   (07.22.13)
They don't carry any Israeli products due to physical threats from the Arabs. This was some years ago. If TJ is going along with this where I live the store will hurt if boycotted. The German government may have 2nd thoughts about thr EU decision, from what I read. I bet China, the Russians and Americans will make up for the deficit.
85. Aldi is German...don't buy Jewish...sounds
Chris Rettenmoser ,   Bayerisch Gmain Germ   (07.22.13)
familiar...
86. The other day was EU, today Netherlands ,...
split ,   US   (07.22.13)
Keep squeezing and wait for the chain reaction ,... The amount they lose due to your sanctions will bite the rest of Israelis as the squatters lose their purchasing capability Israeli producers will lose their market, merchants will close their stores, distributors their storage, transport industry their ... and on, and on, and on ,...
87. To # 72 Nadav face the facts
Stan ,   Israel   (07.23.13)
This occupation has been going on fof 46 years. This has nothing to do with Anti-Semitism. White SA was boycotted out of existence because the Blacks were not given basic human rights. Not even our great mentor the USA supports this occupation If you and those like you do not wake up, within 3 decades Israel too will be boycotted out of existence. MENE MENE TEKEL UFARSIN
88. #84 Trader Joes carries Israeli products
Cynthia ,   USA   (07.22.13)
I've talked to the manager of my local store about this. They buy products that sell and price point is a factor. I know of one privately owned food store that considered a boycott several years back but strong community and customer response forced the store to back down.
89. #79 George, go ahead
BEN JABO (MACHAL) ,   ISRAEL   (07.23.13)
you have my permission to pay high prices for a lousy selection of overpriced junk
90. #83 Chester-Don't speak for the world
BEN JABO (MACHAL) ,   ISRAEL   (07.23.13)
You have more than enough problems speaking for yourself
