I respect the attitude you are trying to display but I have to disagree with you. If this girl was obeying the laws of Israel, that is what should be respected. This man broke the law, why should he be respected. However, if this man or this woman were true to Torah they would display love for one another and treat one another they way they want to be treated. Spitting is not loving your neighbor. Modesty comes from the heart of a person who wants to please Hashem, not religious fanatics. If in this girls education, culture and understanding, she was dressed appropriately and the laws of Israel agree with her then it is Hashem's prerogative to impress on her if she is immodest, not this self proclaimed, holyer than thou lawbreaker.

There are sections of Ashdod that are all Haredi. Yes the newer parts of the city are predominantyly Mesorati or Secular, but Ezors Gimmel, Hey, Daled, and Vav consist of mostly Haredim.
