1. There cannot be peace!
Dee Bee ,   Israel   (08.14.13)
The biggest obstacle to peace is that the Palestinians don't want peace. "Peace" for them means kill Israelis and make Israel into Palestine. Their children are taught that Israel belongs to them and the UN pays the Palestinians to teach "hate the Yehud", the Jews! (Israel Channel 2 report last night). These are facts the President Obama and his pro-Arab Administration close their eyes to.
2. Kerry : putting petrol on a fire
Norbus ,   JERUSALEM   (08.14.13)
Kerry : Is putting petrol on a fire in typical arrogant Obama style, Kerry initiated this round of talks, with promised money and Israeli sacrifices ; The Talks will now go nowhere thanks to double dealing not least on managed confidentiality breaches and trying to get Israel into a corner Israel can defend itself. Israel has suffered boycotts before when much weaker and dependent. Israel can survive without the world. Will the world be better off cutting Israel out? Kerry : Rabbi Lau senior pleaded with Obama on his visit to Yad Va Shem to help us avoid a second Holocaust. Obama is driving us there
3. Total Israeli victory will create peace.
Chaim ,   Israel   (08.14.13)
There will never be peace as long as Israel engages in cretinous, evil talks with "Palestinians" who seek to mass murder us all and steal our sole tiny Homeland. There will be peace when Israel follows the only peace formula that really works. The peace formula of the WW II Allies. Absolute crushing victory with no concessions whatsoever. Followed by the mass departure of "Palestinian" poseurs from our land.
4. How can there be peace
Zev ,   Israel   (08.14.13)
when the Palestinians agenda is the destruction of Israel and their tactics are working. They are slowly getting everything without ever signing a peace agreement. Now we hear our geniuses talking about a intermediary agreement rather than a final agreement. This means more expulsions and still no peace agreement. How can we be so stupid???
5. It's not about peace. It's about Kerry APPEARING successful
Cyberbrain ,   Israel   (08.14.13)
6. Jewish settler: They don’t want peace.
Albrecht ,   EU   (08.14.13)
Jewish settler: They don’t want peace. We already tried everything. Yes, they tried everything - They steal the palestinian land all the time and they don’t want peace.
7. Break the talks now -
Tambour ,   Eilat   (08.14.13)
Break the talks now , before more damage is done from mismanaged expectations. There have been friendlier Presidents and Secretaries of State than Obama and Kerry
8. how long can israel survive as a state, there ?
atilla karagözoğlu   (08.14.13)
9. #2 - Kerry brings God's ire on USA
yosef phd ,   usa israel   (08.14.13)
Since GW Bush, whenever Israel was pushed into unacceptable steps, massive natural, economic and other calamities visited the US. Obama's arrogance and latent Antisemitism is now bound to bring more dark, foreboding events to America
10. To #6 ...What do they want exactly ?
AlbertoGA ,   St. George, USA   (08.14.13)
A simple invention of modern time, History is vague about them, one thing for sure is they want it all. This the "End of the Jews in Israel" As far as I know Jerusalem is not mentioned in the Koran. Then what is all this Charade with Obama plans about Peace, Israel is not for SALE.
11. In 1948 (when Israel was created)
dr harry ,   Jerusalem, Israel   (08.14.13)
CORRECTION!!! In 1948 when the STATE of Israel was established. We, Jews, the Children of Israel, have been around for 4000 years, from the time of our Forefather Abraham. The article continues... "and we’re still waiting". I wouldn't hold my breath..............
12. @8 65 years more than expected, and counting.
Jrebecca ,   Modiin   (08.14.13)
13. No real peace just pressure on Israel to give in
Sam ,   Canada   (08.14.13)
Palestinians don't want a Jewish majority Israel but they get upset when they think Israel doesn't want to give them a state. The EU and US would like Israel to make great concessions because they hope the Palestinians will get a state and this will limit oil problems and terrorism aimed at them. So, they pressure Israel and give Palestinians a free ride except for demanding negotiations from them. So, there is no real peace just the Palestinians waiting for other Arabs or the West to make Israel disappear.
14. If The Arabs Can Call . . .
emanon ,   USA   (08.14.13)
If the arabs can call terrorists "freedom fighters", we need to call settlers "legal Israeli residents". The resident quoted is correct: "They don’t want peace. We already tried everything".
15. #11 Israel was created in 1948
Rau   (08.14.13)
and endorsed by UN. Do you have title deed from 4000 years ago?
