And Finland was attacted by the Soviet Union because of it, in "the winter war" - and the constant threat countinued even after the truce. Then of course later nazi Germany and Soviet became enemies. Finland let nazi Germany to use its area, because the Soviet used terror and was a constant threat to Finland's independence - and then the total war started again. But even the Finnish Jews fight for the sake of Finland. Finland also had a little fight, "the Lapland war", agaist the German army because they refused to leave after Finland made its own peace with the Allies. And the Northern Finland was very badly destroyd by nazis at that war. But had Finland not used nazi German's help - Finland would have become a part of Soviet Union and many more Finns woud have died in Stalin's percecutions.
