I am not Assad's fan but am with him now, and if the US wants the war (i doubt) they are most welcome. Please name one -- just one -- battle (never mind war) that the United States has fought on Israel's behalf! On the other hand, thousands of Americans have died trying to bring democracy to Arab and Moslem states. What kind of a war do you think you would have had in 1991 had not Israel blown up the Osirac reactor in Baghdad? Think of all the American servicemen and women that did NOT come home in body bags, and show some respect and a great deal of gratitude. And what have the Arabs and Moslems ever done for the United States? Jack up the price of crude oil? There's gratitude for you! By the way -- Israel is not the target of Syrian weapons of mass destruction, whether delivered by Assad or any one of a dozen or more insurgent groups. They know better.
