I don’t think so, Jerusalem will not be given to them gentiles forever to trample on, the owner will return to require an account of them Palestinians. Very soon!
32. #17, Make sure to shout and to act crazy for g to notice you
Michael ,   California, USA   (09.27.13)
It certainly doesn't notice normal people and neither does it know which is the country worth supporting.

Deb Goldfarb ,   Washington, DC   (09.27.13)
The PLO Charter was to be amended 20 years ago, and has not been since the PLO committed to do so in writing. Therefore, if this is how the PLO treats its commitments to Israel and the international community, why should Israel trust a word Abbas or any of the PLO's other leaders utters, and why should it trust their signed agreements? Actions here, or lack there of, speak much louder than words.

Son of Cyrus ,   UK   (09.27.13)
The only workable solution is for Israel to define its own borders and the repatriate all Arabs from inside its borders (excluding Druze & Bedouins) paying them financial compensation upon deportation. The question is if there is anybody strong enough within Israel to enforce this!
35. Chaim 21 . Pay all the pals to leave ?
Charles ,   Petach Tikva   (09.27.13)
The same as your "pay one million US$ to every gazan" ? you probably never went to school , arithmetics are unknown to you !
36. Its not only about formal negotations
Sammy ,   Newcastle   (09.27.13)
Its about perceptions And its the MEDIA Palestinian and Israeli who must take the lead Because we cant trust foreign Media to reflect the true situation - simply because it doesn't make drama From the Palestinian perspective everybody KNOWS but doesn't want to or is to fearful to ADMIT that open cooperation and good relations with Israel are good for the West Bank Palestine even in advance of final Statehood Negotiations Its time that our Media showed by example in their reporting the many many FRUITS of that new cooperation on both sides and that Palestinian Israeli Muslim and Jew relations can be a shining example to the rest of the world
37. Lets open up a little window into the future
Tim ,   Brighton   (09.27.13)
Just suppose all this upheaval and tension from Egypt to Iran leads to the dawn of Peace and Stability and Palestinian Statehood Quite apart from the obvious benefits one dreamy Economist has calculated the following PEACE DIVIDEND to the region as a whole Over a 10 year period a wopping 12% average annual growth - would make the region one of the most prosperous in the world And with prosperity comes intellectual social religious and cultural renaissance - The Middle East Renaissance is WELL OVERDUE

mary_of_bethany ,   singapore   (09.27.13)
Islamic Jihad leader Ahmed al-Mudallal said: “A new intifada should erupt against the Zionist enemy and we believe that our people have the will and ability to liberate Palestine from the river to the sea,” if Abbas really want to show sincerity in making peace with Israel, then denounce Hamas, and take over Hamas.... till then, what is the else of bluffing ourselves that we have secure peace with palestinians, when Abbas only represent half of pals, while you give away E Jerusalem to please the Fatah, you actually only please half of Pals, while the other half in hamas will never recognise you until you are rid "from the River to the Sea" ! yes, East Jerusalem also WILL NOT SOLVE THE PROBLEM, UN !
39. it's from "river to the sea" they want, NOT just E Jerusalem
mary_of_bethany ,   singapore   (09.27.13)
40. TO RUNNER 1983 # READ THIS? A MUST !
FO ,   Belgium   (09.27.13)
To you, Runner, and all the other readers of this column, read the interview Yitzhak Rabin gave to the Belgian TV: "... The so-called PLO will never be part for negotiations. It does not mean that Israel does not see that there is a Palestinian issue. We believe that the Palestinian issue can and should be solved in a context of peace that will be negotiated between Israel and Jordan. With Jordan we have got borders, south of the Death Sea, till the Gulf of Aqaba, north of the West Bank, along the Beit Shean Valley and the Jordan Valley. Therefore, in a solution, a peace solution between Jordan and Israel, I believe that the Palestinian issue can be solved in a way that the Palestinians will find their right to express their special identity, but, it will never be trough the so-called PLO or through a third independent state. Because a third independent state between Jordan and Israel cannot solve the Palestinian issue and will serve as a time bomb against Jordan as well as against Israel". Amazing, isn't it? Well Runner, you, and you are not alone, ask to suggest viable and meaningful alternatives. You read what Rabin said concerning Jordan? Don't ever forget that Jordan, representing 77% of the Mandate for Palestine, was robbed by the English from the Jewish National Home, intended to become the Jewish state, as decided by the League of Nations. It’s obvious that nobody can turn the wheel of history backwards. But it would be totally justified to implicate Jordan in solving the Palestinian problem, as proposed by Rabin, bearing in mind that a lot (or most?) of the Palestinians are of Jordanian nationality. And to drop the idea of a "third state", as Rabin called it!
41. 'Stating' - the bloody obvious.
Bikerwolf ,   London U.K.   (09.27.13)
They might have done so - 50 years ago Mr Abbas, but after 50 years of fruitless negotiations, 4 wars of attrition, 20 thousand rockets and half a dozen territorial withdrawals-for-peace, I think you are either mad or senile.
42. Of course we do!
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (09.27.13)
Israel -- including Judea and Samaria -- for the Jews. Jordan for the ersatz "Palestinians" -- who, after all, hold Jordanian citizenship. No problem. Don't forget to take that ostentatious blue eyesore with you as you go. It has no place in Yerushalayim shel Zahav. 'Bye.
43. # 40 FO: Of all the responses to my post,
Runner1983 ,   USA   (09.27.13)
yours is the most practical, IF Jordan wants to be part of the solution. The other responses to my post are not practical.
44. FO , Belgium
Charles ,   Petach Tikva   (09.27.13)
What will you do with the millions of "palestinians" who live in Yehuda Veshomron ? Some of them since generations . Will you deport them in cattle trains , in the same way our parents and grandparents were ? Don't thin that they will leave voluntarely , that's one . Secondly , if we will try to do it "manu military" , what will be the world's reaction ? Do you think that they will agree ? There is only one solution : two states , but on our conditions .
45. #43 runner
solomon ,   bklyn   (09.27.13)
Some responses are not meant to be "practical". They are 'only' meant to be true.
46. LOL Funny, "Most pals support
BUILD BABY BUILD !!! ,   United States   (09.27.13)
a two headed, two partied, by two 'state' terrorists entities... The PA and Hamas. Speak for yourself bozo The worlds had enough of your combined 'pal' BS propaganda machine that only produced vaporized shit. BUILDING NEW HOMES FOR MORE INCOMING JEWS!!!
47. CALM DOWN CHARLES # 44
FO ,   Belgium   (09.27.13)
You read what Rabin said? To implicate Jordan opens the way to a lot of solutions, and why not with international financial intervention, and even Israeli expertise to make a Jordanian-Palestinian entity a viable and prosperous country? Rabin was a visionary. Was he murdered because he was in favour of the Oslo Agreement (what he wasn't, it seems) or was he murdered because he was against it?
48. #44 charles
solomon ,   bklyn   (09.27.13)
Some Pals have lived there 'for generations', but not most. Living there since 1948 at the behest of Jordan to take the place of the Jews so the Jews couldn't return (especially in Jerusalem) is not "for generations".
49. Kudos for calling Abbas "P.A. President".
Chaim ,   Israel   (09.27.13)
Credit should always be given when it is due. Kudos to Ynet for referring to Abbas as "P.A. President", which he is. Abbas is simply the leader of the terrorist P.A. Nothing else.
50. #15
aaron ,   toronto,canada   (09.27.13)
The other solution is to push the arabs back to Jordan where their brethren make up 90 % of the population. END OF STORY.
51. #35. Paying "Palestinians" to go.
Chaim ,   Israel   (09.27.13)
#35. I don't know who suggested paying Gazans $1 million U.S. to leave. But it certainly wasn't me. Anyone can call themselves "Chaim". That should be obvious even to you. A great many "Palestinians" would leave voluntarily if Israel: 1) Ended ALL Israeli support of Fictional Palestine including food, medicine, materials, electricity, money and everything else. 2) Provided fair compensation for "Palestinians" to leave.
52. Abbas knows nothing
Brod ,   USA   (09.27.13)
Since when did Abbas become king of Israel? The fact is the West Bank-Judea and Samaria-Israel's Liberated Historic and Biblical Homeland-Land of Israel belongs to Israel since ancient time. Only a tiny minority called Leftist Judas Pagans would betray the Land of Israel for 30 pieces of silver.
53. 2 state, maybe...but Jewrusalem, never; right of return, no!
JEWDAS ,   AMERICA THE BEAUTIUL   (09.27.13)
in the "what's free for me" in the arab universe... 2 states?, is still a crap shoot. Arabs are grabbing up Jerusalem?, nope. wishful thinking called "right of return?" forget about it big time. it's the "wrong of returns" (maybe a few examples for U.N. eyewash purposes but don't pin your intrafartah on it.)
54. Chaim , it was YOU !
Charles ,   Petach Tikva   (09.27.13)
The same wordings etc ....
55. Solomon , i think it are many
Charles ,   Petach Tikva   (09.27.13)
who lived here for generations . What will you do with them , without looking at what brought them or why they are in Yehuda Veshomron . Look , we , both , the pals and we the Jews , want the WHOLE country . They can't thow us in the sea , we can expall them , manu military . But that's , sad to say , impossible , the world would not allow it . So there remains only one option : two states . But on our conditions regarding Yeroushalaim , the big yishouvim and the border with Jordan .
56. #9 - something we agree on....
William ,   Israel   (09.27.13)
Let the Arab nations dissolve into one Pan-Arab nation-state, and let the Arab tribes battle it out for eternity over power and money. Lock the door and stop getting involved. It's already happening, and no where but Israel is immune from the Arab Spring uprisings because only Israel has had the global mandate for existence and equality for all of its citizens. It's nice we can agree on something once in a while, Steve.
57. yeah just not with Arabs. It's the Ishmael thing.
and the false ,   religion thing   (09.27.13)
58. FO , do you think that Jordan TRY # 2
Charles ,   Petach Tikva   (09.27.13)
will allow millions of pals in their country ? Do you think that many or most of the pals of the west bank [ as they call it ] will agree to be ressetled voluntarely in Jordan ? They don't like nor trust each other . The pals remember the "black september" , while the Jordanians remember how the pals wanted to take the power in their country . It's not the problem you know in Belgium , it's worse . What Rabin was thinking is not relevant anymore .
59. #55 charles
solomon ,   bklyn   (09.28.13)
We agree on the future. But if as many of the Pals lived there for generations as you say, what happened to those who came in 1948 to take the place of the Jews? Did they disappear?
60. Salomon 59
Charles ,   Petach Tikva   (09.28.13)
Exept in Yeroushalaim and Hevron i don't think that many Jews lived in Yehuda Veshomron . And let's look only at those arabs who lived there since generations , their number is not insignifiant i suppose . What will you do with them ? They want to stay there i think , they want to be members of a "state" . But why didn't they ask for a State during the illegal occupation of this region by Jordan ? Jews had already everything needed for a state before WWII , a governement , social care , schools , an "army" etc . They had NOTHING .
