1. Hey! Hold it! Don't get so sensitive that fast.
Israeli 2   (10.02.13)
Obama does what he must in his country's best interest and Bibi does the same for Israel's interest. Bibi merely iterated the truth and his country's position. He is merely saying, we can play your untrustworthy, dirty game as well. Don't think you got me yet.. We will go it alone if need be. That's all he said. For this they get all excited?
2. What you'd expect from NYT. Left Left Left
(10.02.13)
3. Consider the Source
Ron ,   OC US   (10.02.13)
I don't think Obama is going for Iran's pitch without verifiable steps to dismantle the weapons enterprise. This is what the Times should be reporting: Iran's transparency, not condemning Bibi's legitimate concerns.
4. NYT
Anatoly ,   San Jose, USA   (10.02.13)
Neville Chamerlain would be proud of them...
5. Peaceful.?.Why install thousands centrifuges deep u ground
Adi ,   Zurich   (10.02.13)
Peaceful.?. Why install thousands of centrifuges deep u ground
6. NYT wld hv slammed Israel for destroying Iraqi reactor
Adi ,   Zurich   (10.02.13)
NYT wld hv slammed Israel for destroying Iraqi reactor
7. And how long will Rohani be
eddie ,   SA   (10.02.13)
in office. ? Was he democratically elected in free elections?? This guy is a "front" for his handlers - the ayatollas...and will be replaced as soon as expedient
8. NYT not happy
SK ,   Tel Aviv   (10.02.13)
Bibi pointed out how foolish the paper was in its understanding of N. Korea amongst other things, so naturally they want revenge.
9. Obama should kick him out from the White House
(10.02.13)
And from the US. Who do you think you are Benjamin?
10. Fisk who ?
Mike ,   NZ   (10.02.13)
If Fisk had his way Israel would not exist !
11. NY Times=The New Oil Times
(10.02.13)
12. Really?
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (10.02.13)
I don't think so. Obama is creaming his panties at the thought of a faux rapprochement with the Islamic Republic. Israel, needless to say, has a far more accurate and realistic assessment of the situation. Prime Minister Netanyahu has it about right. Obama is still in thrall with his right hand. Oh, dear. Whatever on earth will it take to make the idiot in the White House recognize a genuine threat? I suppose low IQ has a great deal to do with Obama's issues, but what right does he have to drag the American people into his wet dream? The American people need -- and deserve -- an intelligent president. Not a conniving, easily duped, one -- which is exactly what we have until 2016. Of course, impeachment remains a strong possibility -- if not probability. Gee, gosh, willikers. Where is the "reverend" Jeremiah Wright when you need him? Thankfully, not present and accounted for. Wright has made his calculations and moved on. Smart move. Obama is not a wagon to which to hitch one's "star."
13. Bibi
Chaim ,   Arad   (10.02.13)
tell it like it is. Don't worry about Obama, he can't take the truth anyway and wants to soft soap and dozy-doe around the issue. Stand your ground. By the way, who it the NYT? Here today and gone tomorrow. Love the Israeli look you gave.
14. New York Times
(10.02.13)
The New York Times is an organ of the Obama regime. This is news because it is Obama's answer to Netanyahu: Obama will help Iran get nukes, and blame Israel if anything bad happens. The only interesting thing is what former American allies will do. Turkey has announced it will purchase Chinese missiles instead of Obama's Patriots, maybe this will continue. The Saudis were warming to the Russians, will they take more steps in that direction?
15. Now the UN Speeches are over
Tim ,   Brighton   (10.02.13)
Let the Negotiations begin Because no one wants war But you cant help feeling the shocking Legacy Ahmadinejad has left Iran Recklessly taking Iran and the world to the brink Were Iranians actually TRUSTING a Monkey Man who gets excitable and BLESSES his Nuclear Rods? Who believes himself to be the Modern Messiah doing Gods calling? And who by his threatening rhetoric painted Iran into this disastrous corner? Who is INSTRUMENTAL in virtually BANKRUPTING one of wealthiest nations on earth? Who has created an Internal Security Apparatus that makes a MOCKERY of personal freedoms And most of all decimating all of Irans credibilty trust and respect in the global community? Rohanis overtures seem genuine but so often with the Regime NOTHING is what it seems Yet...we have to explore this avenue..because at the end of the day IT WOULD BE A TRAGEDY that one mad monkey man Ahmadinejad now in comfortable retirement - ostracised by Iranians and the world alike - if conflict broke out it would be that lunatic who have had the last laugh
16. Bibi sabataging Obama ?! What could
DT ,   TA Israel   (10.02.13)
be better in response to a "do nothing" US President and his Syrian debacle
17. Israel and Iran
Dik ,   Spijkenisse   (10.02.13)
of course Netanyuahu was right by saying Israel would eventually solve problems with Iran by her own. Shalom from Holland
18. US left so naive. US proxy catetaker of oil. Iran wants it
Adi ,   Zurich   (10.02.13)
US left so naive. US proxy catetaker of oil. Iran wants control. Once they hv nuclear military capability they will threaten the gulf oil countries and the US will be able to do nothing. US evonomy will be devastated. So give the the control to the wolf.
19. Iran will hv control of worlds oil. They will control Mecca
Adi ,   Zurich   (10.02.13)
Iran will hv control of worlds oil. They will control Mecca thru a proxy of fear. Obama can retire to Tehran because his country will be bankrupt and Sunni world will put a price on him. How Naive are the US left
20. A shallow article that is simply an attack on Israel
michael redbourn ,   Lisbon Portugal   (10.02.13)
A foolish article because it's simply an anti-Israel piece that doesn't examine the Iranian behavior. Iran is now saying that it is ready to start talks in a month. Well talks were supposed to have been going on for the last ten years. Iran only has to say, "We have nothing to hide, come take a look", and if they're clean then sanctions will be dropped and the world will relax. And why a month? Just more stalling. Obama got snubbed by Rohani at the UN and the Iranian FM lambasted him just yesterday. Iran has continuously threatened to wipe the Zionist entity off of the map but doesn't like it when Israel threatens an attack.
21. Obama who? Lame ducks are often weak.
David N. ,   Haifa, ISRAEL   (10.02.13)
Undermining Obama is not such a bad thing. He is an ephemeral mini-factor of no great consequences to world affairs. We all talk like American presidents are always at the centre of world events, but historically, they are not. Sometimes, in some places, and for a period, they are players. But not most of the time. Iran knows Obama will be so lame-ducked by next year or so that anyone can wait him out. And indeed, as someone here pointed out, Israel's interests are not the same as Obama's perception, or public representation of, American interests. A huge percent of Americans disagree strongly with Obama's perceptions . . .
22. who cares?!
(10.02.13)
who cares what the NYT says...they've shown in the past they're a rabidly anti-Israel publication...so who cares...besides you?
23. The usual suspects commenting from their blinded caves!
tiki ,   belgium   (10.02.13)
Sooooooo predictable until they are proven wrong (again) of course.
24. The Truth Hurts - NYT Should Try Using it Sometime
Scott ,   Ramat Gan, Israel   (10.02.13)
Everything Netanyahu said was FACT. I challenge anyone to prove he exaggerated on any point he made
25. BOYCOTT NEW YORK TIMES!
maria ,   tel aviv   (10.02.13)
26. Fisk lives with holocaust denial
Zechariah   (10.02.13)
Fisk has supported Regimes that espouse Holocaust Denial and rejection of Jewish Security other than under dimming or forced conversion.Rohani is a breath of fresh air but there are Hardliners who want a nuclear armed capable Iran.Basically all Netanyahu wants is for Iran to freeze because the massive Islamic demography will lead to preemptive war at some stage and world catastrophe .He is warning pressuring to a demonstratable halt in Iran nuclearization.General Deescalation can be built after this world wide.
27. We saw what happened.....
Madeleine ,   Israel   (10.02.13)
.... when Obama 'reached out' to the Moslem world with his Cairo speech. did it win him any friends in the Arab world? We see what's happening with Obama's famous 'Arab springs' in Libya, Egypt, now Syria. What Israel is genuinely afrain of is that Obumma and the west will be so blinded by Rohani's charm that sanctions will be lifted before Iran has fulfilled its purported commitments. We in Israel understand the Arab mind a helluva lot more than you in the West do.
28. The Solution to it all
RJE ,   Adelaide, Australia   (10.02.13)
I have the perfect solution to this problem, and here it is: All Palestinians convert to Judaism and then make aliyah to Israel. Brilliant! I hereby nominate myself for the Nobel Peace Prize. (Of course immediately after arrival Palestinians can revert to their preferred superstition.)
29. I never say this
Bob ,   London   (10.02.13)
... but Well done Bibi! The speech was not perfect but making Iran sweat and work hard to relay any positive intention is exactly what needs to happen after all the havoc they have created globally and for Israel specifically. Years of names like "The Zionist entity" and "the most isolated man in the UN" and stoking the fire at every opportunity and all the funding and training to proxy terror groups around the world to further their intention - now you want to change your tune? Okay... but you're going to have to sweat a little!
30. #22
Ivo ,   Israel   (10.02.13)
Indeed who cares about the NYT and who values its opinionated articles, which are wrong most of the times, always blaming Israel and never objectively. I suggest to the NYT to remain publishing adverts,at least the editing is done by somebody else.
