farrokh ,   Iran,usa   (10.16.13)
Crying to pope now! what nice toothless dog.
2. Will he discuss the widespread Anti-Semitism...
Gunnar ,   Gothenburg, Sweden   (10.16.13)
...among the world's Christians (especially in Eastern Europe) with the pope??? Hope so, even though it would go against Netanyahu's narrative of a supposed future clash between the West and the Muslim world.
3. Be careful!
Corey Zimits ,   Los Angeles, USA   (10.16.13)
Netanyahu, becareful. This pope is not a friend of the same belief system as yours. The catholic church is rewriting its constitution. Has the Torah ever needed to be rewritten? God's Word does not need to ever be rewritten. Doing so just questions God. I am sure He got it right the first time.
4. Humanitarian Aspects of Faith
Zechariah   (10.17.13)
One hopes the Humnitarian Aspects of Faith in a Better World be discussed and hope that the reconciliation between Judaism and Christianity extended to other faiths and that social justice and concern for the poor and disables strengthened.Meanwhile Netanyahu ought emphasise the need for self defence militarily of the Jewish nation and its need for a Safe Sancturary within her Modest Borders.
5. return Jewish property and money
Larry ,   LA   (10.17.13)
Bibi, Please ask the pope to return the Jewish money and property that the church through its instigation of our 'sins' caused the peoples of Europe to rape, steal, plunder and kill us to take away from us our belongings that we earned during the two thousand years we spent in exile in Europe. If the pope wants our friendship he can begin by apologizing for instigating the plunder and murder of so many Jews. We do not need him; the church today is lost. He needs us.
6. Politics and religion should not mix
Hiam ,   TA   (10.17.13)
medevil religious belifs have no place in politics and should not have any influence in shaping goverment policy as at the end of the day it is just a belief or fantasy.
7. The pope should condemn anti-semitism
carlos ,   San Diego CA   (10.17.13)
publicly after the meeting with Netanyhau, that would make him more relevant especially in antisemitic Europe.
8. Roman Catholicism
Toby   (10.17.13)
The Roman Empire executed both Jews and early Christians. It was the Romans who destroyed the 2nd Temple, enslaved and caused the diaspora of the Jews thus practically emptying most of Judea and Samaria of Jews. The state church of the Roman Empire (Roman Catholicism) was established on 27 February 380 with the Edict of Thessalonica, when Emperor Theodosius I made Nicene Christianity the Empire's sole authorized religion. Unlike Constantine I, who with the Edict of Milan of 313 had established tolerance for Christianity without placing it above other religions. It is important to understand that there are many doctrinal differences between Protestant Christians and Catholic Christians. Let the historical record speak for itself. Roman Catholicism has a lot to answer for their treatment of the Jews (Roman occupation, Crusades, etc) and early Christians. That's a brief lesson into Roman Catholicism, boys and girls.

10. Forgive me Father for I have sinned....
Noodles ,   Coney Island   (10.17.13)
I have been allowing Iran to develop a nuclear weapon while duping my constituents and trying to get the West to do my dirty work. I'll say three Hail-Mary's and continue slinging sand in everyone's eyes.
11. The Pope can play a vital role
Sammy ,   Newcastle   (10.17.13)
Not get involved in the Politics one way or the other But to urge, demand, cajole BOTH parties to take practical measures to go down heavily on incitement and acts of hatred ON BOTH SIDES Its not morally right for the Leaderships to turn a blind eye to these acts that try to constantly undermine relationships..as if there were not enough externally We must bring to account BOTH the Price Tag Mobsters as well as those in the PA and Mosques who openly incite hatred..as it was some sort of 'clever and macho' thing to do We need people on BOTH sides to come together dedicated to address just these problems...that will report, monitor and air all acts of incitement, create intensive education and information projects on tolerance and respect for others And lets do this OURSELVES..and not be cajoled by any outside parties...all part and parcel of the difficult road to Peace and Palestinian Statehood
12. #5 Larry still in exile
Avi ,   Tel Aviv   (10.17.13)
Thats rich from you " still in exile" Well you got that bit right, i guess the material trappings of LA are more important to you than Jerusalem. Such hypocracy
13. Isn't the Pope lucky ?
Michael ,   Haifa   (10.17.13)
