2. he is correct
zionist forever   (11.04.13)
I have no love if Morsi or the Muslim Brotherhood but it is a fact he was elected and he was toppled through a military coup. The US & Israel like things better without Morsi but he is still the legitimate president and if there are going to be coups every time the military don't like the president or he is unpopular on the streets then there is no hope for Egypt.
3. Morsi is the legitimate president of Egypt
Fadi ,   Egypt   (11.04.13)
israel and Saudi Arabia don't like Morsi because it will be the end of both israel and saudi "the rest of the Gulf royall family"
4. You are a scaped convict! About time you serve ur sentence!
(11.04.13)
5. No one argues Morsi was elected,
(11.04.13)
but he is no longer legitimate because he was deposed for high treason by the majority of Egypt
6. The fact is he was an escaped prisoner not eligible to run
Eric ,   Tel Aviv & NYC   (11.04.13)
The fact is he was an escaped prisoner not eligible to run in the election as he should have been serving his time. His conviction was never over turned, commuted, or served.
7. He's the most legitimate leader Egypt has ever had!
Gunnar ,   Gothenburg, Sweden   (11.04.13)
Love him or loathe him - no one can deny that Morsi has a stronger democratic mandate than any other Egyptian leader in history. He won the only true free and fair elections that country has ever held, was illegally ousted and the only right thing to do would be to reinstate him. Whether someone likes or dislikes his political party, that's an entirely different matter.
8.  7. He's the most legitimate leader Egypt has ever had!
(11.04.13)
Absolutely no arguing that, but equally, he is the most rejected leader Egypt has ever had. They ought to have despatched him, like they sent off young King Faisal in 1958 and none of the follow through sh1t would have happened. Why can't the world accept, he was elected, ruled diabolically, and thus ejected after being rejected
9. #3
Alex ,   Minneapolis, MN USA   (11.04.13)
How would his presidency bring and end to Israel or Saudi Arabia? Egypt not in the position to fight Israel or the Saudi. Egypt is falling apart and you think it's a threat to others. What a joke.
10. #9 - Alex
Maurice ,   Montreal   (11.04.13)
Fadi's rant in #3 is typical wishful thinking of Israel's enemies. Not even worth paying attention to.
11. Morsi, you are a totalitarian dictator
CJK   (11.04.13)
your attempt to turn egypt into a stone age sunni totalitarian theocracy led to the second egyptian revolution which deposed you. now you can whine all you want. you will never be returned to power. the people do not want morsi.
12. # 7 GUNNAR
Robert S Levine ,   Las Terrenas,DR   (11.04.13)
Why do you always come on a Jewish/Israeli website with your anti-JEW diatribe? Fly to Egypt and go on the streets of Cairo and spout your nonsense.Let's see if you make it out alive !!
13. The anti-Israelis are smitten with Morsi
Tom W ,   USA   (11.04.13)
It's obvious that the leftist anti-Israelis are now enamored of Morsi and with the MB. The left and Islamofascist radicals are united in hate. Once there was an other monster who was elected democratically; - is that beast is your newest idol?
14. Democracy lost !
joe ,   saudi   (11.04.13)
Democracy lost Dictatorship won Choose your side wisely
15. @12 Roberta - Please tell me what is "anti-Jew"...
Gunnar ,   Gothenburg, Sweden   (11.04.13)
...about standing up for democracy and a state's ciitizens' right to elect their own leaders??? Or perhaps you don't have an answer? Unwillingness to discuss the actual issue, and instead resort to name-calling, is not an uncommon strategy. And I have been in Egypt numerous times both before and after the revolution. Still alive and kicking....
16. Yes, in tight summary, that's the bottom line, #1
Cameron ,   USA   (11.05.13)
That damn fool fanatic was running his country straight into the ground.
17. Refuses to wear prison uniform?
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (11.05.13)
Fine. Let him enter the courtroom in his skivvies, or buck naked. That will certainly impress the judge. If Morsi wishes to continue to humiliate himself -- let him. Something tells me that when you appear before a judge in your birthday suit, the judge isn't going to be particularly impressed. Neither will the gallery. Stupid human mistake. That describes Morsi rather well, actually.
18. He violated his oath
Nader ,   Egypt   (11.06.13)
He violated his oath and this is why he was removed from office. Soon there will be an election and another president will be selected that can deliver
