1. INCITEMENT ???
David ,   Judea   (11.04.13)
The biggest culprits of incitement are most of our media , who thrive on it and earn their profits that way. Not a day that goes by and our Liberal friends in the media , will find a way to incite against people who do not fit their world view.
2. Rabin's "courage"
Freddy ,   Ashdod   (11.04.13)
Rabin's "courage" led to 160+ Palestinian terrorist suicide bombers and more than 1000 dead Israeli men, women, and children.
3. My loss.
Michael ,   Israel   (11.04.13)
It was nice to hear of the love of a daughter for a father. I also loved my father, he was murdered by terrorists under Arafat's control. My family and I have suffered this loss because of Oslo and the decision by Rabin to bring the terrorists back from Tunis to the land of israel. The pain of this terrible loss never goes away.
4. Reinventing History
Norbus ,   Jerusalem   (11.04.13)
Rabin's family have a short memory. It would have been impossible to make peace on his criteria today or at any time. Oslo was an error of judgement, a costly mistake that cost Jewish blood since and expose the Nation to existential dangers. So Ynet, have regard for truth rather than swing with emotional red letter days to write some cheap prose
5. L O S E R S ! end.

6. 18 years to Mr. Rabin's murder
Harold ,   USA   (11.04.13)
The daughter of Mr. Rabin should know that the Likud party and its leaders now and then were and are against Mr. Rabin's plan and the Oslo Accords. She should read all the speachs made before her father's assassination delivered then.
7. dalia, your father made a big mistake
alexi   (11.04.13)
Yes he tried and olso was a miserable failure. As olmert demonstrated, peace is impossible wiht the arabs. As for the future, multiply by 5 what the syrians are doing to know what would happen to israelis. And israel i s not strong enough to sacrifice any moreconcessions on borders, yoiu are wrong on that. And criticizing olso is not incitement. however, no one should think of shooting leaders. I detest olmert and livni, however, you don't harm them.
8. Left more willing to make peace but so what?
Sam ,   Canada   (11.04.13)
The Left as a whole may be more willing to make peace and it's why the EU and US prefer them. But so what? The Palestinians don't want anything that leaves a Jewish majority state. They just take advantage to try and get free concessions and territory because they can't defeat Israel by war or terrorism. If the Left is going to pursue peace it should do it with EYES OPEN.
9. the Rabin's family is stuborn ! NO PEACE WITH FATAH OR HAMAS
(11.04.13)
10. The Israeli government pursues precisely the peace Rabin...
Hermon Ben-Israel ,   Qatzrin, Israel   (11.04.13)
...would have pursue. In his last speech before the Knesset, 5 Oct. 1995, Rabin drew his contour for peace, the main points of which were: 1) Jerusalem will remain united under Israel's sovereignty and will also include Giv'at Zeev and Ma'aleh Adumim (including E1 of course) 2) All major Jewish settlement blocs will remain within the sovereign state of Israel, including Gush Qatif in Gaza 3) The Jordan Valley ought to be viewed in the widest meaning of the term and it too will remain under Israeli rule 4) The future Palestinian Arab state will not be a regular one in that it will be fully demilitarized. Its airspace will be totally controlled by Israel, as will its boundaries and all of its border passes: land, sea and air. One would add that Rabin was not ready to see Jews, only because they are Jewish, being expelled from their homes and properties in any part of western Eretz Israel, between the Jordan River and the Med. Sea. This is precisely what the present government seems to pursue, ensuring that Israel's most vital national and security interests are defended.
11. Drama queen striving to be the centre of attention
ab   (11.04.13)
Rabin was a mediocre general, propped to his position by his rich wife's money and connections. The dead Israelis ,victims of his shameless preoccupation with the limelight, can't protest his cult, but there're thousands maimed for life thanks to his pandering to "World opinion"
12. Only a sick mind
Pauld ,   Jerusalem   (11.04.13)
could excuse the legacy of death her misguided, courageous murderer father brought to the Jewish nation.
13. Acknowledgement of mistakes......
tiki ,   belgium   (11.04.13)
Is a sign of maturity! Continuing the same (empty) peace mantra, in spite of all the evidence of a total unwillingness by the Arab Palestinians to deliver only 1% of the goods and live in peace with their Jewish neighbor, is a sign of utter stupidity! Enough already with the incitement from a group who is willfully blind, deaf, double faced, ignorant & heartless! Don't make it sound as if it's only YOU who want peace! It's disgusting!
14. All miss Mr Rabin. Great man. Courage however is not giving
Adi ,   Zurich   (11.04.13)
All miss Mr Rabin. Great man. Courage however is not giving control to people that only want to annihilate.
15. Rabin' Courage?
deborah L ,   Irvine   (11.04.13)
Rabin's "courage" is responsible for the lost lives of something around 1500 deaths. The scale of violence and the effects of a mulit billion dollar funded d war to delegitimize Israel as a Jewish entity is complete. Rabin made the mistakes as do many PMS- they believe that negotiating with terrorists is the only way to win-hence Israel has been in a perpetual state of war. I And alap the while since Osloher negotiating principles have been eroded. Now, Is this the best we can do for our children a long protracted suicide. Giving up our rights and our property is a human rights violation --be it building freezes, or expulsions; it is plain and simple genocide and the whole world knows it. While the Jews are not the only people being ethnically cleansed, Hindus, Bhuddists, Christians also are fallen victims of Islamic terror. The difference is Israel is a state, with a army, and nuclear weapons. Israel has the means to destroy her enemies and then some. It is a matter of willpower.
16. No. 10 - How true, how true, indeed!
Adam Smith   (11.04.13)
17. Dalia Rabin's points are valid
Rafi ,   US   (11.04.13)
a) her father was indeed courageous and creative; b) by allowing massive #'s of settlement housing to be built in direct contravention to Oslo, Netanyahu and Barak govt's following Rabin were responsible for Oslo failure as much as anything the Pales's did... Witness what Netanyahu govt is still doing today... and thereby playing with fire. c) atmosphere of ignorance, intolerance - and incitement - still continues today in the Israeli politic with little or no apparent penalty.
18. Kennedy, Rabin, killed by own governments, right wing haters
Steve Benassi ,   Silver Bay, MN USA   (11.04.13)
19. Olso Killed Jews
A Simple Jew ,   Beer Sheva   (11.04.13)
Rabin's Oslo killed 1500 Jews and wounded thousands more. Rabin made a terrible mistake, and he brought grief and suffering to the Jewish people. We must admit his error, and we must not create a cult of personality around Rabin's name.
20. Great pumpkin didn't show
Linus   (11.04.13)
Halloween was last week and already turkey?
21. #13
Harold ,   USA   (11.04.13)
The European Union located in Brussels, Belgium is more interested of the creation of a Palestinian State more than the United States because the conflict is not far from Europe. If the peace negotiations between Israel and the Palestinians fail the borders of the two states will be impossed.
22. Dalia's memories of her warm father
William ,   Israel   (11.04.13)
"Both dad and mom created a safe place for all of us." ...but a more unsafe, volatile place for the rest of the Israeli citizens. Was it worth it, Dalia?
23. incitement like
avi ,   nyc   (11.04.13)
murdering your opponents on the Tel Aviv beach
24. need courage to face and accept TRUTH
Larry ,   LA   (11.04.13)
Rabin's murder was tragic but let us not be blinded by emotion. Oslo was a mistake; Gush Katif pullout was a mistake. Believing the Arab rhetoric to 'pursue' peace is a mistake. Peace will come when the Arabs want it; we Israelis have wanted it for longer than the State of Israel exists. The Arabs do not want peace. They want us Jews out of Israel; they want all of the land and are not willing to back down. Why should they? They are sucking money out of every Arab land in the world plus the European's too. They cry and the world gives them money. If there were peace they might have to go out and work for the money.
25. what did Saint Rabin do so courageous ?
zionist forever   (11.04.13)
Oslo was an extension of the Decleration of Principles that Bush senior pushed Yitzhak Shamir into signing. Rabin didn't decide one day lets all make peace based on a two state idea. Shamir had the Model T Ford Rabin had the Ferrari, much fancier and better but there would be no Ferrari had it not been for the Model T. When it came to negotiating the hardest thing St Rabin had to do was hand over Jericho and the bravest act was shaking Arafats hand. Nobody asked him to talk final borders, security, Jerusalem or right of return Bibi who doesn't have the courage that Saint Rabin had is the one who has to make those calls. If anything Bibi is the one with the courage but Rabin got the praise and had he lived its likely he would have failed to do a deal same as every other PM and if that happened Rabin would not be the messiah of peace for the left he would be seen as just another politician who talked about peace but didn't achieve it so should not be remembered fondly.
26. rabin, was pushed into oslo
arne ,   chicago usa   (11.04.13)
by Clinton. that's no excuse but when the "big guys" ask you to do it you just do it. today you've got Obama asking Bibi to do it. The difference here is that Bibi has learned from Rabins mistakes and he may look like he'll do it but, he won't. Makes sence?
27. absolutely true!
tom ,   toronto, canada   (11.04.13)
yitzchak rabin, in one of his last speeches, refused to even contemplate dividing jerusalem, or removing zahal from the jordan valley. that was a brave stand, based on security concerns, and not in response to foreign pressure. unfortunately, the current government is to the left of his opinions, and his would-be successors are incapable of learning from his example!
28. Holy areas
Zechariah   (11.04.13)
Areas of Judae and Samaria are holy and neither Jew Arab or International Civilians ought be allowed to settle there. It ought be a Jewish and Palestinian and Mass International Force whose purpose is to protect the Holy land from Psychomaniacs .
