1. Be sure to bug his hotel room. That's all.
tom ,   tel aviv   (11.05.13)
2. Israel has to fight for a good deal.
Zechariah   (11.05.13)
No deal is best people like wars and I don't think competitive human can stand peace and tranquility .Also has to be conflict and competition for most with a few good deeds scattered in .But if there is a deal and its possible it will be a truce or quiet or balance of destruction .
3. He came here to make peace
Israeli 2   (11.05.13)
He cannot, unless he asks me first what kind of piece he wants. He may only have all that are left and in pieces.
4. Lets look at the big picture
David ,   Montreal, Canada   (11.05.13)
With the Obama Middle east policy, the only thing that they can try to keep a hand on, is the "peace" process. The US is loosing their investement in the M-E, and the Russians are laughing all the way. I'm truly sad.
5. Kerry is a liar
Frank ,   Canada   (11.06.13)
He does not want to promote peace but surrender to Arabs
6. Taken for a ride.
michael Pielet ,   israel   (11.06.13)
Kerry, Lord Halifax, with his boss Obama, peace in out time Chamberlain, are appeasers of evil and are not to be relied upon or trusted. They will leave office in 3 years and will leave israel holding the bag. Where are the black top hats and umbrellas.
7. The Saudis made the US irrelevant in Egypt,
jericho ,   causa   (11.06.13)
the Russians made the US irrelevant in Syria and Obama made the US irrelevant in Israel. The monarchy of Jordan is the only one left that US is in close touch with and now they have no choice by to make friends with Iran.
8. Mr. Kerry ought to read Rabin's last speech at the Knesset,
Hermon Ben-Israel ,   Qatzrin, Israel   (11.06.13)
of 5 Oct 1995, dubbed Contour-for-Peace, whose main points follow: 1) Jerusalem will remain united under Israel's sovereignty and will also include the suburbs of Giv'at Zeev and Ma'aleh Adumim 2) All major Jewish settlement blocs will be incorporated into the sovereign state of Israel, including Gush Qatif in Gaza 3) The Jordan Valley ought to be viewed in the widest meaning of the term, and it too will continue to be ruled by Israel 4) The future Palestinian Arab state will not be a regular one in that it will be totally demilitarized. Its airspace will be fully controlled by Israel, as will its boundaries and all of its border passes: land, sea and air One would also assume that Rabin would not have permitted the expelling of Jews from their homes and properties in any village, town or city neighborhood anywhere between the Jordan River and the Med. Sea. Mr. Rabin was a pragmatic man of peace for whom the national and security interests were of utmost importance, not unlike the present prime minister of Israel.

Adi ,   Zurich   (11.06.13)
Mr Kerry. Its w'ful public relations to visit but you are pushing our leaders too much. The arabs are bent only on annihilation. They do not define peace as u do. Our PM is your best friend. Not your enemy.
10. P.S. to post number 8:
Hermon Ben-Israel ,   Qatzrin, Israel   (11.06.13)
P.S. It ought to be said: Legally, western Eretz Israel (Land of Israel), located between the Jordan River and the Med. Sea, has been designated by international law to be the national home of the Jewish people, i.e. the Jewish people's nation-state - see the San Remo conference decisions, 1920; League of Nations decisions, 1922; and UN Charter, article 80, 1945 - while the rest of the territory, located between the Jordan River and the Arabian desert, was handed over to the Arabs as part of the 1921/22 partition of Palestine/Eretz Israel. The former, 23%, while the Arabs received 77% of the whole. The Arabs have never been pleased with ANY partition of the country and to this day refuse to accept Israel's RIGHT to be, to exist as the sovereign nation-state of the Jewish people on ANY parcel of land of the Jewish people's ancestral homeland, on either side of the Jordan River. P.P.S. Also, legally, since ALL peace talks to date have been based on UN Security Council Resolution, 242, 1967, it is important to note that the resolution, designed to resolve the Arab Israeli conflict, doesn't call for the setting up of an additional state between the Jordan River and the Med. Sea. Indeed, 242 doesn't even mention concepts such as "Palestine", "Palestinians" or a "Palestinian state" which have no basis in law.
11. Dont fall into the Media Trap
Sammy ,   Newcastle   (11.06.13)
Its quite laughable for example when the BBC croaks today about the state of the Negotiations.... 'and after almost 3 months there are no tangible results' as if the negotiators should somehow have conjured up an agreement overnight! But the Parties involved as well as Palestinian and Israeli PUblic KNOW FULL WELL that HASTE is WASTE...This time we will not pander to outside interests just to provide a good story and 'instant gratification' for the BBC This is our future and the Negotiators are mandated to negotiate for as long as it takes
12. Trade is a vital issue
Sammy ,   Newcastle   (11.06.13)
Assuming that Israel and the PA conclude an agreement and relations begin to normalise and open between the State of Palestine in the West Bank and Israel - we have attempted to quantify what this Bilateral Trade would mean in terms of growth prosperity and jobs in both countries and whichever way you try to run the numbers - they are stark Not wanting to fall into the trap of specifying figures...sufficient to say the benefits to growth, prosperity, employment for BOTH economies would simply be enormous
13. #8 ARE YOU SERIOUS?
Iranian Jew ,   LA   (11.06.13)
ROBIN kept Gush Katif but failed to sell back the rest of Gaza to Egypt. Oslo brought quiet for Israel for several years, and now, we see that it was a mistake to sign it to begin with. Robin should have included WB and Gaza in the peace process. Living them on their own legitimizes the fight for Palestine. Now, you can't even talk about the fact that WB is JOrdan and Gaza is Egypt.
14. Your legal argument is false.
On the Balcony   (11.06.13)
The San Remo agreement and Mandate for Palestine incorporated the Balfour Declaration and, like the Balfour Declaration clearly prohibits any actions which would prejudice the civil and religious rights or position of Palestine's non-Jewish population. Arguments that the mandate was intended to create a Jewish State flies in the face of the wording of the mandate and historical facts. The League of Nations vote was informed by the Churchill White Paper, the terms of which were accepted by Weizmann prior to its publication. Read it: it was never Remo nor the mandate's purpose to establish a purely Jewish State. Nevermind --responding to such brainless b.s. is a waste of time given the on-going negotiations between the States of Israel and Palestine.
15. to #14 balfor was jewish, the agreement
ghostq   (11.06.13)
made it clear that it would be a house for jews in the holly land, which the arabs still refuse to recognize jewish existance in the ME. urther more, churchil didn't made the white book, the goal was to create jewish Gettos in the holly land, that was Lord phill, churchil visited Tel Aviv and he didn't like what he saw, when it came to the atitude toward jews, 20 people in each jewish brigade, there used to be only 2 brigades, is no match to the Nazer and the fire fox Romel and the palis who were on the nazi side, the jews were not allowed to carry weapons. just catastrophy bound to happened. he was mortified. the main goal of the white book was to regulate jewish population, and the british dare to make Germany look bad while they practiced the same Getto policy.
