34. Amal Haniyeh's treating
Marcello ,   Italy   (11.21.13)
I was impressed two days ago when on Ynet read the article about Amal. We should all stop our fighthings in front of children's suffering. All of us. Blessed are the doctors and everybody else that made this help to Amal possible. I did pray for her, that she may grows up and becomes a Princess of Peace one day, in your loved and troubled Land. What you did it's exactly what our Lord preaches when saying: "When someone strikes you on your right cheek, turn the other one to him as well". Pace a voi. Grazie. Marcello
35. Why isnt CNN/MSNBC/New York Times covering this story?

36. hopefully this child will recover and
benjy   (11.21.13)
never go to a hamas "summer camp" and is taught "death to Israel". Hopefully her grandpa will tell her how she was treated by the terrible Israelis, who's destruction he screams for in his speeches, how Gaza could not treat her, as they spend most of the funds donated to them on rockets to destroy the very people who helped her instead of improving the medical facilities. Personally I doubt if he will tell his grandkid any of this!
37. Salute
Mina ,   Cairo, Egypt   (11.21.13)
Once again the Israelis shows their civilized manner. Nothing much on behind the seen of contacts or arrangements. Where is the reaction of the Middle east on this.
38. Who sanctioned this ?Will he come forward ?
Roland ,   London England   (11.21.13)
39. It was a trap
Shmuel ,   Merkaz, Israel   (11.21.13)
It is already being reported in the arab media that Israel sent the child back in a "clinically dead condition." Of course they don't mention that she arrived in Israel in that same condition. This was nothing but a cynical use of a dying child to instigate yet another 'blood libel" against Israel and "the evil Jews." Have no doubt that they will soon be claiming that 'the Jews' harvested organs from the child.
40. Bad parallels drawn here
David N. ,   Haifa, ISRAEL   (11.21.13)
The Roman Church and its popes are hardly the bench-mark in human compassion. The Roman Church was, historically, the major persecutor of both Jews and Christians for centuries. Real Christians would be a better comparison. But anyway, the concept is backwards, as Christianity came out of ancient Israel. Jews are also taught, from the Torah point of view, not to tell the world of their good deeds, or seek approval or reward or recognition for doing what is right. I think Biblical Christians agree with this teach. How many Torah Jews or Biblical Christians are left on this planet, though?
41. Mohammed did the Same
Zechariah   (11.21.13)
Mohammed saved the daughter of his enemy and Israel is a Humanitarian and Security state not a Fascist Primitive Tribal Hatred State.Post Shoah Genocidalist are our enemy and Mohammad's Islam is not Genocidal.
42. Israel helped a child, who her grandad is is irrelevant
Shachar ,   Eilat   (11.21.13)
If the author had questioned the wisdom behind aiding surrounding countries, he may have been able to make a point. Rejecting a sick child because of her grandfather is plain sick. I personally don't think it is wise to treat foreign nationals in our hospitals, each country should provide health-care to the best of their abilities. If health-care in Gaza needs to be improved that is Haniyeh's job not ours. Change policy, don't pick on the children.
43. Politically brilliant to help Amal, and morally righteous.
Daniel ,   Los Angeles, USA   (11.23.13)
Especially since we trust the God of Abraham to inflict justice upon our enemy.
