I live on a kibbutz and it's not getting any easier here. What affects Israel affects us too. The kibbutzim are pretty much the backbone of Israel's agricultural industry. Without them, we would ALL starve.

Property prices are rising because the Jews all want to live in the centre and coast and the land space is running out so more demand less supply and the population is growing. There is an increase in the number of rich olim and they don't want to live in luxury so thats what developers build as they are most profitable. Tel Aviv will NEVER be affordable, its one of the most expensive cities in the world & most expensive in the Middle East. Its like New York & London and will never be affordable to ordinary people. There is a rising social gap because the country and its economy are both maturing and in developed economies it happens but its only in the last 10-15 years its been possible for people to get rich because the country became more business friendly. There is no easy solution always its a balancing act between people & growth.

It is one of the things that show the world the great humane nature & "H-Shem" like qualities of your service. 2] Expand Jewish building & annexation of Judea & Sumaria which will reduce rising housing prices and help militarily protect Israel which is a necessity. 3] Promote to your children that education is necessary even though it will not guarantee a (good) job, it will increase the likelihood of getting one. And it increases one's self esteem & sets a good example for your future Jewish children. Express your love for your children & continue to guide them all your days. And don't indulge in the liberal minded notion that you must leave (as in abandon) them to make their own choices. Tell your children what the real world is like & don't ever give up on them. 4] Execute terrorists & expel their families as their acts are acts of war by a fith column & not acts of individuals whose civil behavior merely became corrupt.

It‘s time to pack bags and escape from the nightmare. Life is better in Canada, Switzerland, Holland, Germany, Austria, Sweden and Norway. Take your pick.

with the health program, big problems, people can't get doctors, the canadian public health program is really bad.

1) get rid of the VAT - every line of production from import, to wherehouse to consumer 18% is added on each transation. 2) reduce the 90% tax on vehicles. open up imports and allow anyone to import not just 2 yr old vehicles. 3) open up competition - see the strauss monopoly against cadbury. yeah, it's just candy but it is a small taste of the big picture. 4) most restaurants are dumps. have food inspectors inspect them and put a rating next to the register. people will vote with their wallets. 5) it shouldn't cost 60nis for a hamburger meal at burgers bar. the public needs to hold establishments accountable! 6) why is it that israeli products are more expensive abroad than here? 7) change the thinking of the country. socialism makes people look out for #1, themselves vs free market economy and producers want their customers happy. you will see a change. 8) cut taxes. more $ people have more $ they buy more products... 9) allow int'l banks to enter the market. 10) change the election process. hold representatives accountable to the voters!!!!!!!!

Except Canada is not the Jewish state. Israel is. On the other hand, we do appreciate your generous gesture. How about we send you a boatload of "Palestinians" and Africans? I'm sure they will become useful and contributing citizens -- in about seven or eight generations.
