If this is "prudence and moderation" what more can we expect from them?

It's more like deciding to exterminate the rat nest today or wait until they have bigger nest tomorrow. If Iran so much as sends a weather balloon towards Israel, Iran will be sent back into the stone age. What's really hard to understand is why the Iranian people put up with such 'leaders.' They need a 5 million man march on Tehran and simply remove the current crop of lunatics- and hang them for crimes against humanity. (And maybe this time the USA will SUPPORT them!)
