Stan ,   Israel   (02.13.14)
You are either ignorant, or a racist or maybe both. Our navy has not allowed one ship to dock at Gaza in the past 9 years. Also Gaza fishermen are not allowed to fish more than 3 kilometers from the shore. It is a blockade or a siege, call it what you will.
32. #10 actually a great idea
Sam ,   PT   (02.13.14)
Yes, Uganda would be a great idea for secular Zionists where they won't have to deal with Palestinians and guess what? They won't even have to deal with haredi parasites.
33. Only Jews, the perpetual victim, can cry racism, no one else
Steve Benassi ,   Silver Bay, MN USA   (02.13.14)
34. Loony Ariana lies again
Steve ,   Petach Tikva   (02.13.14)
Both Bennett and Netanyahu took to the podium with the facts about water usage and showed that Schultz lied in his Slander of the Jewish state.
35. #24 Mike, where are YOU going live?
Shlomo   (02.14.14)
The arabs dont want YOU either, my friendly appeaser. You sprout off about a subject in deluded belief that YOU know all that there is to know about it. Even arab Israelis use more water that the Pals. Did you mention that? No...You omit EVERYTHING that negates your weak argument. Why do you fools need to have the undeniable fact re-stated endlessly that the arabs have an overarching desire and goal to eradicate Jews from Israel -IRRESPECTIVE of whatever "deal" you make with them.
36. #5 just one correction
(02.14.14)
Bibi shouldn't be kicking anyone out. He is the one that needs kicking out, for once and for all. His unholy alliances are destroying this country. And the only thing he cares about is his glory and privilege. Useless, useless, useless. Time for new leadership... no, I lie, time for any leadership.
37. #5 - one correction
gp ,   tel aviv   (02.14.14)
Bibi shouldn't be doing any kicking out. It is he who needs to be kicked out, for once and for all. An end to alliances that only keep HIM in power irrespective of the impact on the country of deluded idiots like Bennett, who might consider attending to his own portfolio. Anyone notice where jobs are going? The strikes of his own department? It's time for new leadership... no, make that ANY leadership.

Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (02.14.14)
Schulz lied. The truth of the matter is that the "Palestinians" use far more water than that to which the Oslo accord stipulates they are entitled. That's not racism, sluggo; that's the truth. Shulz's breast-beating whiny lie made a fool out of him and the EU; not Israel and definitely not Bennett, who was perfectly justified in taking Shulz to task for his fictional tear-jerker. Fictional accounts and inaccurate statistics. The EU must be finding it SO hard to find good help these days .....
39. To: No. 26
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (02.14.14)
But he is talking about the "Palestinians" in Judea and Samaria, who use far more than the Oslo Accords allow. So that little tear-jerker story was not only fictitious, it was a stupid fiction to boot. Schulz has been outed -- time for him to slink away in richly-deserved shame.
40. Read Schulz's speech and
Shalom ,   Jerusalem, Israel   (02.15.14)
you will find that it contains a passionate defense of Zionism. You can't read German? Then don't comment on what he said, because you are condemning someone unjustly on the basis of hearsay. That's as bad as lying. Moreover, Schulz did not lie. He said "this is what I heard from Palestinians"; he did hear it from Palestinians, so it was no lie on his part, even if they were lying.
41. Great article
Anonymous ,   Tel Aviv   (02.15.14)
Thanks for this unpopular oppinion. I couldn't agree more! Someone has to tell the Israeli public the truth - and Habayit Yehudit doesnt do that with all their demagogic populism.
42. Throw them out
paulD ,   Jerusalem   (02.15.14)
The EU and the UN provide no benefit to the State of Israel, they are here for only one purpose, and that is to replace Jewish sovereignty with Arab sovereignty. They can't engage in pogroms or holocausts, because it not politically correct, so they empower the blood thirty Jihad Arabs. Throw these Jew-haters out.
43. Only Arabs, new perpetual victim, can cry racism, no one else
Steve Benassi ,   Silver Bay, MN USA   (02.16.14)
44. #7 "Israel has made numerous gestures (relasing murderers
N ,   N   (02.16.14)
That is the core of the problem, Israeli politicians make good-will gestures towards those who have power (politicians, "militants", criminals) and ignore those who have no power. (e.g. when there is a major release of murders there is nearly always an allocation of land for the settlements, at least a formal one. And from whom? From the ordinary people, the peasants, shepherds, ...). What is the signal to the Palestinians? You are suckers as long as you are peaceful ?! THAT IS CRAZY!
45. lies, damned lies, and statistics
shloime ,   toronto, canada   (02.16.14)
a few facts are missing in this discussion of "liters": first, there is an agreement in place, since oslo, about water. the "palestinians" are violating it by digging uncontrolled wells and subverting proper management of the aquifer - they are stealing water. second, water usage doesn't mean that fat jews in tel aviv are bathing more than poor arabs in judea and samaria. israeli agriculture is far intensive and successful, and exports produce (despite boycotts) around the world. israel has practiced water conservation for many decades to keep its water usage not much higher than the arabs'. and third, israel leads the world in desalination. israeli technology is in desalination plants in arabia and the united states, and israel has built large desalination plants to reduce dependence on groundwater, and will build more. what have the arabs done? to sit and curse not only the darkness, but also the person relighting the candle? that may be the failure of arab culture, by why do germans, or leftist israelis, feel obligated to speak out in support of it?
46. Schulz did not, all Palestinian leaders lie.
Truth Clown   (02.16.14)
Most Palestinians can not be heard. They live in oppression. The Palestinian, Arab and Iranian leaders are delusional anti-intellectual liars. Their poor subjects are living in fear. Schulz did not lie. Gaza is under siege. He should understand that the Hamas leaders and Fatah leaders are the enemies of peace.
