Your "cure" will not work. Re #1: Grandparents are not smarter and kids won't listen to them. They are irrelevant. They do not have the knowledge prized by the younger generation. Old people are past their "use by" date. Young people are running the show now. Re #2: Who will pay for this? number 2 on your list? I realize that all of this is hypothetical, but synagogues giving lists to universities, Hillels, etc. reminds me of lists given to the police to round up Jews in the Nazi era.
