Whether or not the boycotters are anti-Semitic is irrelevant in my view. If they are genuinely interested in peace they should know 2 things: (1) The BDS movement is perceived as anti-Semitic by many Israelis and thus tends to harden not soften attitudes; (2) the Palestinians perceive it as encouragement to delay making peace in the hopes of a better deal.

Actually the Apartheid regime collapsed because companies started boycotting companies who traded in South Africa because they were scared of losing market share. This led to companies like Ford Motors withdrawing from South Africa. Once that happened the jig was up.
