Your article is full of love of our shared institution the IDF but is flawed in its assumptions. The assumption that all religious people are the same is similar to saying all Hilonim are the same. Assuming the current IDF is accommodating toward religious officers neglects to identify the backround of those officers who are mostly from the Dati Leumi camp and look toward the IDF as a sacred obligation and privilege. Those whom they wish to "draft" are not similar in any way on a cultural level and its those difference that must be addressed.
