Israel defines itself as "Jewish State" eight [8] different times as a Jewish State. So rejecting Israel as "Jewish State" means refusing to recognize Israel as it has defined itself. IKt is preposterous to claim that you recognize a state's independence, and then turn around and claim that YOU, not THEY, can define what kind oif state it is. Abbas, by claiming to have "recognized" Israel at various times in the past, and now loudly and repeatedly announcing that the PA will "Never" recognize a Jewish State, is only proving that he is a liar who can not be trusted - the "recognition" was not a real recognition in the first place. While it might have been possible, as with Jordan and Egypt, to have remained silent on the fact that israel is the Jewish State in a formal peace treaty, it is not possible now, with Abbas and the Arab League repeatedly shooting off their mouths about "never" recognizing a Jewish State. Now it has to be explicit and in writing, as the price for an Arab state for the PA with ANY borders. Or no state for them. The Arab League, and their Saudi Peace Plan, are now exposed as liars and frauds for backing Abbas, and Obama is exposed as a liar and a fraud for backing the phony and now discredited Saudi Peace Plan. But then we already knew that. Kerry's "framework" is finished if he fails to explicitly unambiguously demand "Jewish State" recognition as the price for a PA state.
