...and his protege Field Marshal al-Sisi is in charge, while the democratically elected MB government is in jail. A coup, engineered by Israel, Saudis, who both fear Arab democracy, and wanted US, now Saudi "bought and paid for" Cold War dictators back.

Sinai used to be demilitarized so that Egypt could not make a sneak attack on Israel. To fight the Islamists they had to flood Sinai with thousands of their best troops, armed far in excess of the Camp David agreements. Now when Fatah and Hamas have allied, the Syrian civil war is winding down, Syria is flood with thousands or more Shi'ite Iraqi fighters, and Assad is giving Al Qaeda amnesty if they take positions across Israel's border, suddenly Egypt takes control of Sinai. The good news is that IDF central command is focussed on real threats like Jewish graffiti artists

Are you suffering from delusional paranoia, or do you think that we're all simply stupid? "Israel" engineered the tens of millions of Egyptians who came out in the streets to force Mursi out of power? "Israel" engineered the Egyptian military responding to that pressure by seizing control before the country ruptured completely? In case you have completely forgotten, Mursi was not creating problems for Israel; he was creating problems for Egyptians, and they became very, very angry at him. As for Arab democracy, Israel is the only country in the region whose Arab citizens live under a democratic government that protects their human rights and freedoms. The Arab Spring didn't change the political culture of the Arab societies, which is fundamentally authoritarian and xenophobic. Which is the REAL problem. What planet do you live on, anyway?

Israeli withdrawal from the Sinai, which its forces had invaded in 1956 after Egypt nationalized the Suez Canal. do you really mean that Israel was defeated in the six days war and had not advanced an inch over land in 1967?!
