I don't see the problem. If the US product is better, they win. If not, they lose. There are two parts to business; product and marketing. Stop crying and do a better job next time.

try reading the article again: the poles did not decide based on which system was better, but because of political considerations, like the ukranian situation (which will be irrelevant by the time the system becomes operational), and america vetoing the sale of certain israeli products. (not the first time the americans have used "foreign aid" as a lever to block israeli interests, and stifle competition.) nothing to do with price or quality of the product, just "american knowhow" in marketing.

chances are, poland will never actually need to shoot down incoming ballistic missiles, because very few countries have the capability and the desire to shoot at them. iran, for example, would be foolish to target warsaw instead of london or paris. but poland's military history does include some remarkable choices, like having the finest cavalry in the world, in ww2. choosing a derivative of the patriot system, which has an almost perfect record of zero proven intercepts (except for 2 kills of friendly aircraft!), may continue that fine tradition.

Why is everyone hating on me and comment? There are many cell phone companies in Israel. We chose Orange because of their children's games, which was an added benefit that suited us. If the Poles want to work with an American company and receive political or other benefits, that seems the same to me. I live here, and always want the best for Israel.
