As a good goi,the main thing remains to deigitimize Israel and put pressure on it.
2. Rome and meddling in another country
Sjoerd van der Velde ,   Hoorn, Holland   (05.25.14)
For example, also in that case, the Roman Catholic church has/will have to mind it's own Vatican business. Also, Israel, forever, ever and always. May G.d bless the Jewish and Israeli people, too!
3. Relationship between Vatican& Jerusalem is as convoluted as
tom ,   tel aviv   (05.25.14)
these "sign-readings" in form of what/when/where why the good Pappa did or did not.But deep down we know....
4. The pope giving the PA the status of a state.
tiki ,   belgium   (05.25.14)
It's not in his hands to give anything. If he wants to visit Betlehem first doesn't mean that all of a sudden it becomes ''Palestinian, as he well knows. Betlehem was the birthplace of the Jewish child Jehushua, born out of the Jewish mother Miriam in the Jewish land, occupied by the Romans....but with no "Palestinian in the neighbourhood! Fact is that it's still the PA, the unelected group of corrupt leaders of a territory without borders that without 100% financial foreign help would sink like the Titanic.
5. Please, return the favour!!!

With all due respect, when you invited a friend to your home, you should expect some curtesy. In our case, Pope Francis has gone beyond a certain accepted protocol of two independent States, he should be given the same respect as he gave to Israel: No President Peres or Prime Minister Netanyahu in the reception line. It might look little off the regular Israel's expectation, but so was the slap in the face the Pope has just given to the Jewsih State. Haba Leho

Palestinian occupied lands are not part of Israel and that is the reason why every country meddlei in it. As the Pope said 'THIS CONFLICT IS UNACCEPTABLE"

The Pope represents 1.2 Billion Roman Catholics and he is able to do huge damage to 13 Millions. John Paul II is the one who let Communism collapes.

The arabs occupied the land during the Muslim Conquest. The Jews have taken it back. Ever wonder why its called Judea and not Arabia? But history has never been your strong point.
9. Doors close and open
Danny ,   London England   (05.25.14)
About one billion Muslims are hostile to Israel. About one billion Roman Catholics follow the Pope who is a friend of Israel, like Pope John XXIII, John Paul II and Benedict XVI. You win some and you lose some. Some of the Protestant churches are turning back to replacement theology.
10. It looks you dont see the pictures and receptions

At the Airport he was greeted by both Peres and Natanyahu. Non of them can go to Bethlehem, So your complaint is stupid, To the wailing Wall he was accompanied by Israeli leaders, not gto the explanade of Mosques, to avoid stiring things. To Hetzl's Tomb and YadnVashe he was accompied by both President and PM as well as FM
11. Blessing the Separation Fence was genius!
Mark ,   London, UK   (05.26.14)
Who would have thought the Pope would stand before the world's press and bless the separation barrier for all the lives it has saved? Pure genius!

Dumb like you and your followers feel colonization and occupation is acceptable but the whole world including the Pope say the truth i.e UNACCEPTABLE.

And your “truth” is a lie, no matter how many times it is repeated. Either you support those who were there first or last, and in both cases it was Israel. Truth can’t be voted on.
